MUMBAI: Skoda Auto India has priced the new Slavia sedan from Rs 9,99,900 to Rs 18,84,000, ex-showroom, with customer deliveries set to begin next week. The company announced the prices on 6 October 2026, about two months after it first showed the updated car in August (prices as announced on 6 October 2026; checked 7 October 2026, 2:45 AM IST).
The new Slavia comes in six trims from day one: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Bookings had opened earlier for a token amount, which we covered in our report on Slavia pre-bookings at Rs 15,000. Now buyers finally have the full list.
New Skoda Slavia price list
1.0 TSI manual: Classic Rs 9,99,900, Classic+ Rs 10,99,000, Signature Rs 13,94,000, Sportline Rs 14,34,000 and Prestige Rs 15,89,000.
1.0 TSI 8-speed automatic: Classic+ Rs 12,49,000, Signature Rs 14,94,000, Sportline Rs 15,34,000, Prestige Rs 16,89,000 and Monte Carlo Rs 17,29,000.
1.5 TSI 7-speed DSG: Prestige Rs 18,59,000 and Monte Carlo Rs 18,84,000. All figures are ex-showroom, so the on-road price in Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru will be noticeably higher after road tax, registration and insurance.
Two things stand out. The cheapest automatic Slavia now costs Rs 12,49,000, which brings a two-pedal Skoda sedan within reach of buyers who would earlier have stopped at a manual. And anyone who wants the bigger 1.5 TSI engine has to go to the Prestige or Monte Carlo, at Rs 18.59 lakh and above.
The new 8-speed automatic and other changes
The main mechanical change is a new 8-speed torque converter automatic for the 1.0 TSI, which Skoda calls a first in the segment. The 6-speed manual stays, and the 1.5 TSI continues with the 7-speed DSG. Skoda says 1.5 TSI versions also get rear disc brakes.
On the outside, the update brings new LED headlamps and tail lamps with sequential rear indicators, a horizontal chrome strip across the grille, reworked bumpers and new alloy designs. The Monte Carlo adds red stripes, its own badging and black exterior parts.
Inside, the Prestige gets ventilated, electrically adjustable front seats and a rear seat massage function that Skoda describes as a segment first. The 360-degree camera arrives from the Sportline. From the Signature up, the touchscreen grows to 25.6 cm and comes with a voice assistant that Skoda says is powered by Google Cloud and Gemini, built to understand Indian English accents.
What the base Classic gets
The Rs 9,99,900 Classic is not bare. Skoda lists six airbags and more than 25 safety features as standard, automatic climate control, a rear defogger, a 17.7 cm touchscreen and 15-inch steel wheels with covers. It is manual only. The Classic+ adds a sunroof, 16-inch alloys, all-LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming mirror, along with the option of the new automatic. That step up costs Rs 99,100 in manual form, which is the gap many buyers will think about hardest.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said the new car "does not ask customers to choose between aspiration and practicality".
Colours, warranty and deliveries
The Slavia is offered in Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, Deep Black, Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey, plus two new shades, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige. Skoda says Cappuccino Beige deliveries will start only in December 2026, so buyers hoping for a Diwali handover should pick another colour.
Every new Slavia carries a 4-year or 1,00,000 km standard warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four free labour services within two years or 30,000 km. The warranty can be extended by two more years. Skoda also lists a six-year corrosion warranty and a three-year paint warranty.
The car keeps its 5-star Global NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection, according to the company. With deliveries due from next week, the Slavia will be in showrooms through Navratri and Dhanteras. Skoda's festive push also includes the Octavia RS, covered in our story on Octavia RS festive deliveries.
