New Fire Station to Come Up in Phulpur Village of Varanasi

A new fire station will be constructed in Phulpur village under the Chaubepur police station area of Varanasi district. The project has been initiated following the efforts of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar, with the aim of ensuring quick response to fire-related emergencies in the region.
On Wednesday, a team of administrative officials and fire department officers visited Phulpur to inspect the proposed government land. During the visit, officials carried out land measurement and assessed the technical feasibility required for establishing the fire station. Senior officers also issued necessary guidelines regarding the construction plan.
For a long time, residents of Phulpur and nearby villages had been demanding a permanent fire station in the area. At present, in case of major fire incidents, people have to depend on fire stations located at the district headquarters or far-off areas, leading to delays. The new fire station is expected to significantly improve response time and help protect lives and property.
According to departmental sources, the inspection process has been completed successfully. The fire station will be built on 33 bissa of land. Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar is expected to lay the foundation stone of the project soon.
The initiative, taken with the support of Phulpur village head Vishal Singh Chauhan, has been welcomed by local residents, who expressed their gratitude to the minister for addressing a long-pending demand.
