NBEMS declares NEET-PG 2026 result; scorecards 1 Oct

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has declared the result of NEET-PG 2026. A notice dated 24 September 2026 from the Department of Examinations Confidential says raw scores and NEET-PG 2026 ranks are now available on https://natboard.edu.in for candidates who appeared in the August and September sittings.

The main examination was held on 30 August 2026 across the country for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (Direct 6 Years Courses) and PG Medical Diploma courses of the 2026-27 admission session. A re-examination for candidates affected by an internal power failure at iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura, Jaipur (TC codes 41682 and 41683) was held on 5 September 2026. A total of 2,63,544 candidates appeared on 30 August and 2,416 candidates appeared on 5 September.

Cut-off scores and rank method

NEET-PG 2026 rank is the overall merit position among all candidates who appeared. Ranks are based on actual marks and the tie-breaking criteria printed in the information bulletin. Qualifying cut-off scores out of 720 are 262 for General and EWS (50th percentile), 244 for General PwBD (45th percentile), and 226 for SC, ST and OBC including PwBD of those categories (40th percentile).

NBEMS says none of the questions in either paper was found technically incorrect after faculty review. Final merit lists for State Quota seats will be prepared by States and Union Territories as per their own eligibility rules and reservation policy. Candidature remains provisional subject to the eligibility criteria in the NEET-PG 2026 information bulletin.

Scorecards and answer keys from 1 October

Individual scorecards can be downloaded from the NBEMS website on or after 1 October 2026. Scorecards will remain available for download only for six months from the date of issuance. Requests after that window will be rejected because the files will no longer be hosted. Scorecards are system-generated and will not be sent by post or email, so candidates should save a local copy as soon as the download opens.

Answer keys will also be published on or after 1 October 2026, in line with the information bulletin and Supreme Court orders cited in the notice. Each candidate will be able to see question ID, correct answer key ID, recorded response ID and the score awarded under the evaluation plan through their applicant login on the NEET-PG 2026 index page.
