NBEMS FNB mop-up allotment out; join by 1 October

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has declared the allotment result of the Final (Mop-up) Round of online centralised merit-based counselling for FNB courses of the 2025 admission session. A bilingual notice dated 25 September 2026 says the result can be viewed through the link on the notice and at https://counseling.nbe.edu.in.

Candidates allotted seats in the Final (Mop-up) Round must join the allotted institute and course within the time fixed in the counselling schedule. After allotment, they must download the Seat Allotment Letter from the NBEMS Counselling Portal and report to the allotted institute by 1 October 2026. What happens if a candidate does not join

If a candidate fails to join the allotted institute within the stipulated time, fails to produce original documents for verification, or fails to fulfil the eligibility criteria during verification, admission to that seat will be cancelled. The amount deposited as course fee will also be forfeited, the notice says. There is no soft landing described for late reporting after 1 October.

Seat allotment is provisional. It remains subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria, verification of original documents at the time of joining, and final checks before NBEMS issues a Final Registration Number. If any deficiency or ineligibility is found at any stage before the Final Registration Number is issued, both the candidature and the provisionally allotted seat are liable to be cancelled.
