NBEMS declares DNB Final Theory Examination June 2026 result

This is not the NEET PG hall ticket, and it is not last winter’s practical list. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has declared the result of the DNB Final Theory Examination, June 2026. Treat that line as its own file. Mixing it with the other banners on natboard.edu.in is how candidates download the wrong PDF.

The DNB/DrNB exam page on the Board’s site still lists a DNB June 2026 Session block, with separate columns for Information Bulletin, Application Link, Practical Exams, Theory Result and Practical Result. The theory-result column is the one that matters this week. A December 2025 session block sits lower on the same page. That older practical-result banner is not this result.

What DNB Final actually is

DNB/DrNB Final is an exit examination leading to the DNB or DrNB qualification. It is not an entrance test. NEET-PG, whose admit cards went live on the same NBEMS domain this week for an examination on 30 August 2026, is a different process with a different login purpose. Do not open the NEET-PG applicant screen looking for a DNB theory scorecard.

NBEMS usually conducts DNB/DrNB Final in June and December. The examination is two-stage: theory, then practical. An eligible candidate who has qualified the theory paper is permitted to appear in the practical. Those who do not qualify theory have to reappear in theory. Qualifying June 2026 theory is a gate, not the qualification itself.

Who sits DNB Final is also set out on that official overview. Candidates who trained as DNB/DrNB trainees at an NBEMS-accredited institute, having registered with the Board, and who complete the prescribed training by the date in the letter of registration, can take Final in the same specialty on submission of the completion certificate. Separately, candidates who have already passed a recognised postgraduate degree (MD/MS or DM/MCh) from an Indian university recognised under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 and the first schedule of the IMC Act, on or before the prescribed cut-off, can apply for DNB/DrNB Final in the same specialty. Those pathways do not turn this week’s theory result into an admit card for any other NBEMS exam.

How to read the June 2026 theory result

Use the candidate login on natboard.edu.in. Open the DNB Final / DNB June 2026 theory-result link from the official exam page, not from a forwarded screenshot. Download the individual scorecard from that login. Paper-wise marks and a grand total, where the Board issues them, travel on that scorecard. Save a copy. Do not treat a WhatsApp image of a qualifying status as the document you will show a practical centre.

This desk re-opened natboard.edu.in on the morning of 27 August 2026 IST. Cloudflare’s bot-check sat in front of the homepage HTML on that pass, so the live banner text could not be scraped a second time from this machine. The 25-08-2026 homepage listing compiled earlier the same morning still read: “Result of DNB Final Theory Examination June 2026 declared.” The DNB June 2026 Session row on the exam page remains the official place to follow theory result, practical exams and practical result as three different objects.

What not to mix up on the same domain

Do not fold this result into the December 2025 practical-exam specialty list. Those are practicals from the previous winter session. Do not fold it into NEET PG 2026 admit-card instructions, printed ID rules, or the 30 September internship cut-off that belongs to that entrance test. Do not assume a practical date-sheet from an older session still applies to everyone who has just cleared June 2026 theory.

Practical examination for those who have qualified theory will follow the Board’s own schedule for the June 2026 session, on the Practical Exams column of that same page. This copy is not inventing a practical start date, a re-evaluation fee, or a last date to ask for unassessed-answer review, because those figures were not readable on a clean official PDF in this pass.
