GURUGRAM: Runners considering the MET City International Half Marathon near Gurugram have until 11:59 pm IST on 15 October to register, unless places fill earlier. The organiser lists the race for Sunday, 25 October. Its instructions require bib collection before race day, so entrants need to plan a separate pickup.

The venue is Reliance MET City in Jhajjar, rather than central Gurugram. The organiser estimates a road distance of about 30 km from central Gurugram via SH-15A. This is a separate event from the FIT Gurugram Marathon scheduled at Cyber Hub on 4 October; its registration, venue and bib arrangements do not carry over.

Entry choices and the refund conditions

The programme offers a 21.1 km half marathon, a timed 10 km run and a 5 km fun run or walk. The organiser-linked CityWoofer ticket page displays prices of Rs 2,499, Rs 1,699 and Rs 1,199 respectively, as of 14 October 2026, 4:39 am IST. The organiser labels those amounts as regular fees and also shows lower early-bird rates, without confirming their continued availability.

The ticket page marks add-ons as available but does not show a final payable total before ticket selection. The ticket display does not establish whether taxes or processing charges are included. Readers should check the full amount and any optional additions before paying. The displayed add-ons are not described in the text reviewed.

Minimum ages are 18 for the half marathon, 15 for the 10 km and 12 for the 5 km. The respective birth-date cut-offs are 24 October 2008, 24 October 2011 and 24 October 2014, with applicants born on or before those dates meeting the stated age condition. An individual may enter only one race, and a confirmed category cannot subsequently be changed.

The event rules say entries are accepted online and that no individual or group has been authorised to collect them for the organiser, GRR Salubrity and Events. The rules do not provide a refund for non-participation, including a missed bib collection. If conditions require postponement, registration transfers to the rearranged date. The FAQ says cancellations and transfers to another runner are not permitted.

Collect the bib before the early start

The bib expo page lists MET City Club & Convention Centre on 23 and 24 October, from 10 am to 5 pm. A second collection option is labelled Gurugram, but its venue and schedule remain unannounced.

For collection, participants need their bib-number message or registration confirmation and original identification showing a photograph, gender and date of birth. A representative needs a signed authorisation letter, confirmation with bib details and a copy of the runner's identification. The stated counter limit is two bibs per person.

Bibs and T-shirts will not be distributed on race day or couriered to entrants. T-shirts cannot be exchanged, and collection ends at the declared expo closing time.

On 25 October, the half marathon starts at 6:30 am, the 10 km at 7 am and the 5 km at 7:30 am. Reporting is one hour before each start. The published completion limits are three hours and 30 minutes, 90 minutes and 60 minutes respectively. Travellers need to work backwards from reporting time, rather than reaching the venue at flag-off.

The race-day page lists hydration, medical and recovery areas, toilets and a baggage counter. It recommends sharing vehicles and limiting belongings. Baggage is subject to screening, with restrictions on size and weight, and the organiser does not accept responsibility for loss or damage. No transport service from Gurugram is confirmed in the travel instructions reviewed for this report.

The category pages say provisional results for the half marathon and 10 km are expected by 7 pm on race day. Downloadable timing certificates for finishers are due within 10 working days. The 5 km category instead provides a participation certificate within that period. The rules require runners to wear the assigned bib and timing tag correctly to obtain an official finish time.
