MCC R1 FLOAT upload clock 31 Aug

If you chose Float in Round 1, the Medical Counselling Committee has now timed the upload and the institute check. The notice — Ref. U-11011/07/2026-MEC, Dated: 29.08.2026, “Notice posted on: 29.08.2026” — sits on the UG counselling page as 20260829529577071.pdf. It is a two-page Directorate General of Health Services file from the Office of MCC at NML, New Delhi-110011. It is not the 27.08.2026 Round-2 pair still sitting on that same counselling page. Freeze candidates still have a physical-reporting last date. Float candidates have a different clock, and the first of those hours is tomorrow.

The letterhead email is adgme@nic.in. The opening sentence is for “the candidates who have chosen FLOAT option for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2026.” If your saved choice is Freeze, row 1 is yours. If your saved choice is Float, rows 2 through 8 are yours. Do not read a September Round-2 registration date into this PDF. The 27 August activity file still lists seat-matrix verification on 1 and 2 September and registration from 3 September. Those dates belong to that other pair.

Freeze reporting, then the Float upload hours

Last date of physical reporting of Round-1 for Freeze candidates of UG Counselling 2026 is upto 05:00 P.M. of 31.08.2026. That is the first row. It is a campus reporting hour, not an upload hour.

Submission of willingness of the candidate for upgradation — the notice’s own gloss is “i.e Choose Float option” — is available only upto 12:00 Noon of 31.08.2026. Uploading of documents for FLOAT candidates is available only upto 02:00 P.M. of 31.08.2026. Those two cuts are not the same. Choosing Float by noon does not finish the upload. The upload has its own 2:00 pm stop the same afternoon.

MCC will then publish the institute-wise list of Round-1 allotted candidates whose document verification is pending, available only upto 04:00 P.M. of 31.08.2026. Verification of documents at institute level, and the window for institutes to raise a discrepancy in documents of allotted candidates, if any, is available only upto 06:00 P.M. of 31.08.2026. Re-upload by midnight, confirm or cancel on 1 September

Row 6 is the last chance. Candidates can avail the last opportunity to re-upload corrected documents after resolution of the discrepancy mentioned in the query raised by the allotted institute, available only upto 11:59 P.M. of 31.08.2026. The next sentence is the cost: “If candidate does not upload corrected documents the seat will get cancelled.” That is a midnight cancellation on 31 August, not a reminder the next morning.

The institute will either Confirm or Cancel the admission of the candidate for Round-1 within the stipulated time, upto 11:00 A.M. of 01.09.2026. Candidates are advised to check their admission status after logging into their account after 12:30 P.M. of 01.09.2026. Login after 12:30 pm on 1 September is how you see whether the institute confirmed or cancelled. The notice does not print a travel date for Float candidates. It does not print a document checklist. It times the upload, the institute query, the re-upload, and the confirm-or-cancel.

This file does not reopen choice filling. It does not move Round-2 registration. The UG counselling page this morning still carries the Round-1 result for people who already have a college to report to, and the 27 August Round-2 schedule. The new row is this 29.08.2026 FLOAT clock. Freeze people report by 5:00 pm on 31 August. Float people finish willingness by noon, upload by 2:00 pm, watch the 4:00 pm pending list, answer an institute query by 11:59 pm if one is raised, and log in after 12:30 pm on 1 September.
