The Medical Counselling Committee under the Directorate General of Health Services has published the Final Allotment Result for Round 3 of UG Counselling 2026. The file is now live on the MCC portal, replacing the provisional sheet that candidates were asked to check against the grievance window that closed on 1 October.

MCC's own homepage notice states that the reporting process begins on 2 October 2026. Candidates who received a fresh seat or an upgrade in Round 3 should treat this PDF as the operative allotment and prepare to join the allotted college with original documents, rather than wait for another provisional pass.

What changed from the provisional list

On 30 September, MCC had released only a provisional Round 3 result and asked candidates to flag discrepancies through the Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System by 10:00 AM on 1 October. That window is now behind us. The final allotment sheet is the version colleges will use for admission.

The final PDF covers All India Quota MBBS and BDS seats and the other MCC-managed quotas that run through the same counselling software. Central university lines, including allotments linked to the Institute of Medical Sciences at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, appear in the sheet alongside AIIMS campuses and participating state medical colleges.

Students who saw a college code on the provisional PDF should re-check the same application ID on the final file. A grievance correction, a resigned seat, or a technical clean-up can still move a name between the two versions. Do not report on the strength of a screenshot taken before the final upload.

Reporting from 2 October

MCC has stated that reporting starts on Thursday, 2 October 2026. Fresh allottees and upgraded candidates need the Round 3 allotment letter from the candidate login, NEET scorecard, category certificates where applicable, and the document checklist published for UG counselling 2026.

Candidates who froze or floated seats in earlier rounds must read their Round 3 status carefully. An upgrade changes the college that must be joined. A retained seat still needs timely physical reporting if Round 3 instructions say so. Missing the reporting window can cancel the allotment even when the final PDF shows a college name against the application ID.

Parents helping with travel and fee payment should work from the candidate portal rather than from forwarded PDFs that may lag behind the live file. The authoritative download sits under Current Events on mcc.nic.in.

Practical checks for Varanasi and other AIQ seats

Aspirants watching Banaras Hindu University AIQ seats should search the final sheet for the IMS BHU lines and confirm course, quota abbreviation and allotment status before booking travel. The same discipline applies to every other college code on the list.

Carry only documents that match the application: name spellings, date of birth and category must align with the NEET record. Colleges raise discrepancies through the MCC system when papers do not match. Keep digital copies ready, but report with originals as the information bulletin requires.

For the operative text and the seat-wise list, rely on the final allotment PDF dated 1 October 2026 and the reporting start date announced on the MCC website. Informal forwards that skip the portal login leave candidates with no proof of the current allotment.
