MCC dates NEET UG Round 2: AIQ registration 3–8 September, joining by 18 September

MCC has dated Round 2. The UG schedule page, last updated 27 August 2026, now carries two files titled that day: “AIQ and State Schedule Round 2 UG 2026 dated 27.08.2026” and “UG Round 2 AIQ Counselling Schedule 2026 dated 27.08.2026.” Round 1’s final result is still on the same UG counselling page for people who already have a college to report to. This pair of PDFs is the next round. It is not a recap of the Round 1 PwD re-upload.

The activity PDF covers online counselling for NEET 15% All India Quota and 100% Deemed, Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS institutions and JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal) — MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing for 2026. The companion one-pager lines that AIQ/Deemed/Central Round 2 against State counselling Round 2 and prints one last joining date for both.

What the 27 August activity PDF times

Seat-matrix verification by participating institutes is 1 and 2 September 2026 (two days). Registration and payment run from 3 September to 8 September 2026, up to 3:00 pm of 8 September, server time. The payment facility stays open till 6:00 pm of 8 September, also server time. Those are not the same clock. Paying after 3:00 pm on the 8th does not reopen registration.

Choice filling runs from 3 September to 9 September 2026. Filling itself is available up to 10:00 am of 9 September, server time. Choice locking starts at 4:00 pm on 8 September and runs to 10:00 am on 9 September, server time. The PDF counts that block as seven days. Processing of seat allotment is 9 and 10 September (two days). Result is 11 September 2026 (one day). Reporting and joining is 12 September to 18 September 2026 (seven days). Institutes verify joined-candidate data on 19 September 2026 (one day).

What the AIQ-and-State one-pager adds

The second PDF, titled “NEET-UG SCHEDULE- 2026, All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central State Quota,” compresses Round 2 of counselling to 3 September to 11 September 2026 on the AIQ/Deemed/Central side, with MCC’s verification of joined-candidate data on 19 September. State counselling Round 2 is 7 September to 11 September 2026. State DMEs and state counselling authorities also verify joined data on 19 September. Last date of joining is 18 September 2026 in both columns.

A note under that table tells participating institutes and colleges to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days, “for ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling.” Do not assume a Sunday inside 12–18 September is a closed campus until the allotted college says so.

MCC’s UG Medical Counselling page, opened with the schedule page on 28 August 2026 morning IST, still headlines the Round 1 final allotment and tells those candidates to report and to read Chapter 2 of the Information Bulletin before they travel. These two 27 August files do not print a Round 3 timetable. Seat-matrix verification on 1 and 2 September is the only MCC box before registration opens on 3 September. The activity PDF’s Word title is dated 27.08.2026; that is the clock, not a 19 August Round 1 revision still sitting in an old bookmark.
