Maharashtra AYUSH CAP Round 1 result due 27 September; joining till 1 October

MUMBAI: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has fixed 27 September for declaration of CAP Round-1 for BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses (Group B) under NEET UG 2026. The date sits in Notice No.17 dated 21 September, which revised the Round-1 calendar after earlier Notice No.16.

Physical joining at the allotted college, with all original documents and fees by demand draft, runs from 28 September to 1 October up to 5:30 pm. On bank holidays, cheque payment may be accepted if replaced by DD on the next working day; failure to submit the DD can cancel the admission.

What led up to today's result

As per the revised Group B schedule, the registered candidate list and provisional merit list were published on 21 September after 8 pm. Grievances were taken on 22 and 23 September till noon. Final merit and seat matrix for Group B came on 24 September. Online choice filling ran from 24 to 26 September till 11:59 pm.

Candidates who locked preferences in that window should log into the medical2026.mahacet.org candidate portal on 27 September to see whether a seat was allotted. Status retention and fee rules follow the CAP brochure and the joining instructions printed with the selection list.

Group C clock runs alongside

Notice No.17 also sets Group C (BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, B P&O, BNYS) final merit and seat matrix for 27 September, with choice filling opening the same day. AYUSH aspirants who also applied under allied groups should not mix the two calendars when planning college visits next week.
