Maharashtra LLB 3 Yrs CAP Round-III vacant seats and option filling

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has a revised Centralized Admission Process schedule for the LLB 3 Yrs course for academic year 2026-27. The order is No. HED-1126/CR.No.25/LLB 3 Yrs/CAP Sch_26/1946/2026, dated 10 August 2026, signed by the Commissioner and Competent Authority, Maharashtra State CET Cell, Mumbai. For candidates still hunting seats after Round-II, the live stretch is CAP Round-III: vacant seats display, option form filling, scrutiny, merit lists, allocation and college reporting.
This is the three-year LLB CAP track on the State CET Cell surface. It is not the ME-2026 CAP Round-IV seat-acceptance story already live on other Education desk slugs, and it is not the five-year integrated law CAP unless a separate schedule says so. Use the LLB 3 Yrs CAP schedule PDF and the candidate login on the CET Cell side for option forms.
Round-III vacant seats, options, scrutiny and merit
Display of vacant seats for Round-III is dated 03 September 2026. From 03 September 2026 to 05 September 2026, already filled-in candidates may edit the CAP application form if required, and all candidates fill the college option form. E-scrutiny of uploaded documents and filled application forms by the Expert Committee runs from 03 September 2026 to 07 September 2026.
Display of the Alphabetical Merit list for Round-III is on 09 September 2026. Candidates then get 09 September 2026 and 10 September 2026 to resolve grievances on that alphabetical list, edit the application form and upload required documents through candidate login if needed. Publication of the Final Merit List for Round-III is on 15 September 2026. Allocation for Round-III is at 05:00 PM on 17 September 2026.
Candidate registration for unregistered CET-qualified candidates for Round-III and the Institutional Level Round ran from 05 August 2026 to 05 September 2026 on the same schedule sheet. If that registration strip has closed on the portal clock, late joiners follow only whatever later CET Cell notice reopens. Do not invent an extension.
Reporting after Round-III allocation and earlier CAP context
Candidates allotted in Round-III report to colleges and seek admission from 18 September 2026 to 21 September 2026. Colleges upload admitted candidates on the portal on 22 September 2026. Carry originals and fee instruments the college list demands inside that reporting band. An allotment letter alone does not finish admission until the college confirms the upload.
For context only, Round-I allocation was at 05:00 PM on 14 August 2026 with reporting 17-20 August 2026. Round-II vacant seats displayed on 21 August 2026, options ran 22-24 August 2026, allocation was at 05:00 PM on 27 August 2026, and Round-II reporting ran 28 August 2026 to 01 September 2026. Those earlier rounds are closed on this PDF. Round-III is the vacant-seat and option-filling track now in focus.
Read dates from https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ and the CAP LLB 3 Yrs schedule PDF hosted there. Server and portal clocks on the CET Cell site govern edits and option locks. Keep Round-III option filling (through 05 September 2026 on this sheet), alphabetical merit on 09 September 2026, final merit on 15 September 2026, and 05:00 PM allocation on 17 September 2026 on one checklist before you report between 18 and 21 September 2026.
