KNRUHS sets Post Basic B.Sc Nursing final exams from 17 November

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences has notified Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing final year regular examinations for November 2026. Letter No. 122/KNRUHS/Exams/Notifications/2026 dated 30 September 2026 schedules theory papers from 17 November 2026.
Students admitted in 2024-25 whose admissions are approved, who have completed the study period with 80 percent attendance in theory and practicals separately and at least 50 percent internal assessment marks, can register. Eligible previous-batch candidates who failed, were detained or did not register earlier are also covered under the notification.
Attendance for eligibility is calculated up to 17 October 2026. Colleges must upload attendance and internal marks from 22 to 24 October 2026, with confirmation on 26 October 2026.
Fees and payment window
Exam fee is Rs 2,500 for regular candidates and Rs 500 per subject for backlog students, plus Rs 300 for the marks memo and Rs 350 processing fee. Payment without fine runs from 29 October to 4 November 2026. A Rs 200 fine applies from 5 to 7 November, and a further Rs 5,000 fine on top of the earlier fine applies from 8 to 10 November 2026.
Fees are paid online through the TCS iON form at tcsion.com. The payment link remains active from 29 October to 10 November 2026. Students should keep the fee receipt and registration acknowledgement until hall tickets are issued.
College exam cells should treat the 22 to 24 October upload window as fixed working days. Candidates close to the 80 percent attendance line need to resolve shortfalls before 17 October rather than after the cut-off freezes.
Theory timetable and practicals
Theory examinations run from 17 to 27 November 2026, each from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with reporting at the centre by 9:00 AM. The order is Sociology on 17 November, Community Health Nursing on 19 November, Mental Health Nursing on 21 November, Introduction to Nursing Education on 23 November, Introduction to Nursing Administration on 25 November, and Introduction to Nursing Research and Statistics on 27 November.
Practical and clinical examinations are scheduled to commence from 7 December 2026. Principals of affiliated Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing colleges have been asked to circulate the letter among students and heads of departments and to display it on the notice board.
Final-year Post Basic students should map revision weeks to the six theory dates rather than treating November as an open block. Sociology opens the set on 17 November, and Research and Statistics closes it on 27 November, so weaker papers need early slots in the study plan.
Practical preparation cannot wait until theory ends. Clinical examinations begin from 7 December 2026, which leaves little gap after the last theory paper. Nursing tutors should publish internal practical checklists alongside the university timetable so candidates are not surprised by skill-lab sequencing in December.
Candidates who still need to clear backlog subjects should compute per-subject fees early and keep internal assessment printouts ready for the 22 to 24 October upload check with their college exam cell.
For the fee dates and paper order, rely on Lr.No. 122 dated 30 September 2026 on the KNRUHS examination notifications page.
