KNRUHS opens MDS Management Quota Phase-1 web-options till 28 September

WARANGAL: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences has opened the first phase of web-based counselling for MDS seats under Management Quota for 2026-27. The notice, posted on 26 September, covers MQ1 and MQ2 (NRI) seats in affiliated private dental colleges in Telangana, including Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad.

Eligible candidates are those whose certificates were uploaded at registration, provisionally verified, and whose names appear in the Management Quota final merit list published on the university website on 26 September. Web options run from 6:00 AM on 27 September to 5:00 PM on 28 September through https://pvttsmds.tsche.in. Candidates are considered only for the category or categories for which they registered and remain eligible.

How options and fees work

There is no cap on the number of choices. Candidates may rank any number of specialties and colleges they are willing to join. Allotments follow the order of preference saved online. OTP on the registered mobile is used when options are saved. The university has asked candidates not to use mobiles or tablets for exercising options and to prefer a computer with a stable internet link.

University fee after allotment is Rs 55,000 for MQ1 and Rs 80,000 for MQ2, payable online before the allotment letter is downloaded. Tuition fee is paid at the allotted college as per G.O.Ms.No.124, HM and FW (C1) Dept., dated 4 September 2026. The Phase-1 seat matrix dated 26 September lists MQ1 (UR and local), MQ2 and MQ3 seats across Meghna, Sri Sai, MNR, Kamineni, Panineeya, Mamata, SVS, Sri Balaji and Army College of Dental Sciences.

Rules that cut later rounds

Candidates who skip web options in this first phase are barred from later Management Quota phases. Anyone allotted a seat after exercising options who then fails to join is also kept out of subsequent rounds. That rule is meant to reduce seat blocking. Army College Management Quota seats stay reserved for wards of Army personnel under AWES regulations.
