Telangana posts second-phase MBBS, BDS management quota allotments; report by 1 October

WARANGAL: Candidates allotted management quota MBBS and BDS seats in Telangana's private medical and dental colleges in the second phase of counselling must report at their colleges by 4 PM on 1 October 2026.

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences published the college-wise allotment list for Category B and C/NRI seats on 24 September. The 77-page document is signed by the Registrar and carries the reporting deadline as its closing note.

What the list shows

Dalimss counted the entries in the published list. It runs to 3,137 allotments across 39 colleges. Of these, 2,620 are for MBBS and 517 for BDS.

By seat type, 2,342 entries are tagged as Category B allotments and 795 as NRI allotments. Within Category B, the list tags 1,851 entries as local and 491 as unreserved, following the university's own seat codes.

The largest single block on the list is at Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghatkesar, with 196 MBBS entries. Maheshwara Medical College in Patancheru, MNR Medical College in Sangareddy, RVM Medical College in Mulugu, Dr Patnam Mahender Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences in Chevella and CMR Institute of Medical Sciences in Medchal each show 125 MBBS entries.

The dental colleges on the list include Army College of Dental Sciences in Secunderabad, Kamineni Institute of Dental Sciences in Narketpally, Mamata Dental College in Khammam, Panineeya Mahavidyalaya Institute of Dental Sciences and Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery in Vikarabad, among others.

The list is labelled a second-phase allotment list and includes entries carrying both first and second phase markers in the seat code. Dalimss has counted every entry as printed and has not tried to separate fresh second-phase allotments from seats carried over, because the document does not explain the markers. Candidates should read their own entry carefully, including the admission details column, which records the seat category against which they have been admitted.

Reporting by 1 October

The single instruction on the list is the reporting deadline: 4 PM on 1 October 2026 at the allotted college. The list does not repeat the fee, document or bond conditions. Those sit in the university's management quota admission notification for 2026-27, and candidates should read it again before they travel.

That gives allottees six days from publication. Students holding offers in other counselling channels, including the Medical Counselling Committee's all India rounds and other states' processes, will need to weigh them against this seat inside that window, and should check each authority's rules on resignation and forfeiture before committing.

Because the list is college-wise, a candidate's name appears under one institution only. Anyone who expected a seat and cannot find their name should search the full document by NEET roll number, which is printed against every entry, rather than by name.

Other KNRUHS notices this week

The management quota list is one of several KNRUHS notices this week. The university has also extended the reporting time for first-phase MDS allottees under the Competent Authority Quota to 2 PM on 28 September, and extended online registration for undergraduate AYUSH and nursing courses.

The allotment list, with names, NEET ranks, roll numbers and admission details for each college, is on knruhs.telangana.gov.in. Candidates who find a mismatch between their allotment and the list should contact the university before reporting rather than after.
