KNRUHS CQ Phase-1 web options 29 Aug

If you skip first-phase web options, KNRUHS will not take you in the later phases. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, put that rule in the 28 August 2026 notification for first-phase Competent Authority Quota MBBS counselling. The window is already running: 6:00 am on 29 August 2026 through 12:00 noon on 1 September 2026, at https://tsmedadm.tsche.in/. The university homepage this morning lists the same file under Latest Updates as 28 Aug.

This is MBBS under the Competent Authority Quota into government, private un-aided non-minority and minority medical colleges affiliated to KNRUHS for 2026-27. It is not All India Quota. It is not a BDS options notice. The same 28 August shelf also carries the CQ final merit list for MBBS/BDS and a CQ MBBS seat-matrix PDF. This piece is the options clock.

Who can option, and what the 28 August merit list is

Only candidates whose names sit on the final merit list of UG Medical Admissions notified on the KNRUHS website on 28.08.2026 can option. That includes EWS, PWD, PMC, CAP and SCCL. Certificates had to have been uploaded at registration and provisionally verified. The merit PDF is headed “MBBS/BDS ADMISSIONS UNDER COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA FOR THE AY 2026-27 — FINAL MERIT LIST.” It runs 356 pages. The last serial is 18600. The Registrar’s date line is 28.08.2026. Serial 1 is KOMPELLA SAI GAYATHRI TEJOARUNIMA, NEET rank 83, score 693, OC. A serial on that list is not a seat. How the window works

Options are online, from a computer with internet, at https://tsmedadm.tsche.in/. The portal’s own flash this morning reads: “Web Options for Phase 1 from 6 AM on 29/08/2026 till 12 noon on 01/09/2026.” There is no cap on the number of college choices. Option for every college you are eligible for and would actually join. A one-time password of six English capital letters A to Z goes to the registered mobile. Print the saved options.

The seat matrix is on the university site. This desk opened the 10-page CQ MBBS seat-matrix PDF posted the same day. The college-code list on that file runs through serial 63 and covers government, private, private-minority and women’s colleges. This desk is not adding those rows into a seat total. Treat the live PDF as the grid the software will read.

Competent Authority Quota seats in minority medical colleges go to Muslim minority candidates only. Muslim minority candidates can also option for CQ seats in other medical colleges.

Fee, joining, and what a missed join costs

If you are allotted, pay the university fee of Rs 12,000 for MBBS through the payment gateway — debit card, credit card or internet banking — and download the allotment order. That university fee is not refunded. Duplicate or failed-then-successful payments go only to knruhs.doublepayments@gmail.com; refunds, if any, wait until admissions close. Tuition is paid at the college: government colleges as notified on the college website; private colleges as per G.O.Ms.No. 98, HM&FW(C1), dated 07.08.2026.

Report to the Principal of the allotted college by the date and time on the allotment order, with originals, relevant bonds, and tuition or college fee. Originals stay with the college unless you discontinue. Final verification is at the college. A discrepancy can cancel the provisional allotment.

Two failure lines sit in the notification. If you do not exercise first-phase web options, you are not eligible for subsequent phases. If you option, get a seat, and do not join, you are not eligible for subsequent phases. The stated reason is to prevent seat blocking. Log in after each phase and check.
