GURUGRAM: Home baking has become a serious hobby in many Gurugram households, and a fair number of people now want to learn it properly rather than from short videos. One small studio that runs in-person workshops is Khushboo Cooking Classes in Nirvana Country, Sector 50. This guide sets out what its website lists, as read on the morning of 7 October 2026.

The contact page gives the studio's location as Sector 50, Nirvana Country, Gurgaon, with a phone number for enquiries. The about page says the hands-on workshops take place in a fully equipped cooking studio there, and that the same team also runs live online classes for students in other cities.

The classes are led by Khushboo Singhal. In her own account on the about page, she started cooking after marriage, began experimenting with recipes for her family and is largely self-taught. She writes that her classes are built for home kitchens, with clear steps and troubleshooting tips, and that eggless baking is a speciality. The page does not mention any formal culinary training, and Dalimss News has not attended a class.

The offline classes page listed 12 workshops on 7 October 2026. Every one of them carried the same fee of Rs 1,500 (price as of 7 October 2026, 8:53 am IST). The page shows an enquiry button rather than fixed dates, so the schedule has to be confirmed with the studio.

Several workshops are aimed at bakery-style basics. One covers cookies, cruffins and pastries, along with sponge baking, creams, ganache and decoration. Another is about eggless filled muffins, and the page names flavours such as chocolate chip, banana walnut, kesar pista, lemon blueberry and red velvet. There is also an eggless cake bases masterclass and a Subway-style eggless cookies workshop.

Bread gets its own class. The bread baking workshop, which the page describes as eggless, lists sandwich bread, atta bread, multigrain bread, buns, rolls, focaccia and pizza base among the things covered.

Millet, festive and ice cream workshops

A second group of workshops is built around ingredient swaps. The page lists gluten-free millet brownies, gluten-free millet cookies, tea cakes it describes as gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan, tea-time biscuits made without maida or sugar, and baked crackers with dips made without maida or frying. These labels are the studio's own descriptions. Dalimss News makes no health or nutrition claims about any recipe.

For the festive calendar, there is a Christmas plum cake and fruit cake class, which the page says covers fruit preparation, soaking guidance, baking, storage, decoration and packaging for gifting. There is also a professional parlour ice creams workshop covering bases, flavours, texture, toppings and serving.

A common thread in the descriptions is a nod to small food businesses. Several class pages mention packaging ideas, home baking orders, bake sales and cafe menus. Readers thinking about selling from home should note that the studio describes this as business guidance, and any food business still needs the usual registrations.

The events page gives a sense of how longer masterclasses are priced, though no upcoming events were listed on 7 October 2026. Past listings from June 2026 show a complete bread baking masterclass across two afternoons, 13 and 14 June, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm at Rs 3,200, a two-day cookies and biscuits workshop on 10 and 11 June at Rs 3,000, and an international cakes session on 7 June at Rs 1,800. These were past fees, shown here only as a guide to the format.

The about page says the offline workshops run in small batches, with recipe notes and direct interaction with the instructor. It also lists online classes with live sessions, recipe PDFs and WhatsApp support groups, and says some workshops come with lifetime video access. Which format suits you depends on whether you want hands at the counter or the convenience of your own kitchen.

Because the studio is inside a residential area, the website gives only the sector and the locality rather than a full street address. Ask for the exact location and parking arrangements when you enquire, especially for weekday afternoon sessions.

With Diwali falling on 8 November this year, the cookie, biscuit and cracker classes may interest people planning homemade gift boxes. Several of the class descriptions mention packaging and gifting ideas, though the page does not list any Diwali-specific workshop as of 7 October 2026.

Before signing up, it is worth asking a few practical questions. How many people are in a batch, whether ingredients and equipment are included in the Rs 1,500 fee, how long each session runs and what you take home on the day. None of these are stated on the class listings we read.

If hands-on weekend classes are what you are after, our guide to pottery classes and rates at two Gurugram studios covers a different craft with a similar format. And for anyone who would rather sit in a cafe after class, our piece on third wave coffee cafes in Gurugram and their hours lists a few nearby options.

Fees, class lists and dates on the site can change without notice. The Rs 1,500 figure above is what the offline classes page showed on the morning of 7 October 2026, and anyone planning to join should confirm the current fee and the next available date with the studio first.
