If you do not click Confirm on the five-year LLB candidate homepage by 31 August 2026, 11:59 pm, Kerala’s Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not put you in the second-phase allotment. That is the whole notice, stripped of the brochure language. The PDF is CEE/22/2026-TA3-Part(1), I/716410/2026, dated 22-08-2026, still flagged NEW on cee.kerala.gov.in this morning.

Second-phase activity for the Integrated Five Year LL.B Course, 2026–27, in Government Law Colleges and private self-financing law colleges, opened on the CEE website on 22.08.2026. Confirmation is not a courtesy. It is the gate.

Who has to press Confirm — and who keeps Round 1 anyway

Two groups are eligible to take part by clicking the Confirm button on the home page of the Candidate Portal.

First: candidates who received an allotment in the first phase, got admitted to that college, and are still in that admitted status, and who want their existing higher-order options considered now. Second: candidates who registered options for the first phase, received no allotment, and still want to be considered.

Skip Confirm and you are out of this phase. The notice is equally clear on the consolation: present admission, if any, from the first phase is retained. You do not lose the college you already joined merely because you stayed silent. You only lose the chance to move up.

After Online Option Confirmation, candidates may change the priority of existing higher options and delete unwanted higher options. Rearrangement and deletion sit in the same window. Requests for confirmation, rearrangement or deletion sent by post, fax, e-mail or hand delivery will not be considered. The portal is the only channel.

The rest of the second-phase calendar

22.08.2026 — website opens for option confirmation, rearrangement and deletion.

31.8.2026, 11.59 PM — that facility ends.

1.09.2026 — publication of the second phase of provisional allotment.

3.9.2026 — publication of the second phase of final allotment.

Candidates who get an allotment in this phase must join the allotted college within the time CEE will notify later. Pay the amount shown in the allotment memo at the allotted college at admission. Candidates who do not take admission within the specified dates lose the allotment.

A change of allotment to a higher option in phase two automatically ends the current admission. Collect the transfer certificate and relevant documents from the college you now hold and join the newly allotted college inside the dates CEE posts. Do not assume the old college will keep a seat warm.

Fee concession, as printed, covers candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC, communities eligible for educational concessions as given to OEC, candidates eligible under GO(Ms)No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005, children of fishermen, and inmates of Sri Chitra Home, Nirbhaya Home and Juvenile Home allotted under Government Quota. They are exempted from payment of fees. That exemption is not a reason to skip Confirm.

How to do it without mixing exams

Log in through the “Integrated Five Year LL.B 2026 - Candidate Portal” tile on cee.kerala.gov.in. Application number and password open the home page. The Confirm button is there. Use it, then reorder or delete, then leave the portal alone until the provisional list on 1 September.

The same CEE homepage also carries a parallel NEW line: Three Year LLB — Second Phase Allotment Online Option Confirmation Is Mandatory. That is a different course with its own candidate portal. Do not confirm the three-year form thinking it covers the five-year list, or the other way around. Maharashtra’s three-year LLB CAP is a different state process altogether.

Helpline numbers on the notice are 0471-2332120 and 0471-2338487. Email is ceekinfo.cee@kerala.gov.in. Office: 7th Floor, KSRTC Bus Terminal Complex, Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001. The joining dates after 3 September have not been printed yet. This desk is not inventing them.
