Kerala sets first-phase AYUSH and medical allied allotment for 23 and 24 September

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has fixed the first-phase allotment calendar for Kerala State Quota seats in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and a wide band of medical allied courses under KEAM 2026. Option registration ran on www.cee.kerala.gov.in until 2:00 pm on 22 September 2026. The provisional allotment list is scheduled for 23 September, the final allotment for 24 September, and joining from 25 September to 30 September 2026 at 4:00 pm.

Courses in this phase include BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Co-Operation and Banking, Climate Change and Environmental Science, integrated B.Sc-M.Sc Biology and Microbiology, B.Tech Biotechnology, BVSc and AH, and BFSc. Allotment to 15 percent All India Quota seats in participating self-financing Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges is also handled by CEE in this phase on the State rank list without domicile preference.

Fees and option registration fee

The notification prints tuition fee tables for government and aided colleges under KUHS, KAU, KVASU and KUFOS, and separate general and management fees for self-financing Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges. KAU and KUFOS fees are listed per semester; other courses are yearly. Candidates who register options pay Rs 5,000 as option registration fee, reduced to Rs 500 for specified SC/ST/OEC and related categories. Those who already paid the fee for MBBS or BDS need not pay again. The fee is adjusted against tuition or caution deposit on admission, and is refundable only if no allotment is received after the process ends.

Joining rules candidates should not miss

Allotted students must remit the fee shown in the allotment memo at the college before joining. College authorities have to approve and submit admitted lists through OAMS by 5:00 pm on 30 September 2026. Candidates who do not take admission in time lose the allotment and will not be considered for further centralised allotment in the same stream. Rank-withheld candidates could register options, but their choices count only if defects are cleared before the 22 September 2:00 pm option close.

Mandatory reservation percentages for State Merit, EWS, SEBC communities and SC/ST seats are restated in the same notice. For students watching the portal today, the operational sequence is clear: check the 23 September provisional list, wait for the 24 September final allotment, then report between 25 and 30 September with memo, documents and fee. Parents comparing BAMS seats in government Ayurveda colleges with self-financing options should read both fee tables in the same notification before locking preferences emotionally. The provisional list on 23 September is for checking mistakes; the final list on 24 September is the one that drives joining. Keep certificates for community and income claims ready because colleges will verify them during the 25 to 30 September reporting week.

Candidates with withheld ranks must clear defects before the option deadline already closed at 2:00 pm on 22 September if they want this phase considered.
