Chaitra Navratri will be celebrated with a series of religious and cultural programs at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi. The temple administration has planned several traditional rituals and events during the nine-day festival, offering devotees a spiritually enriching experience.

The celebrations will begin with the ritual of Kalash Sthapana on the first day. On the eve of the festival, nine sacred pots filled with Ganga water will be brought from the revered Kashi Vishalakshi Temple and offered to Lord Shiva at the temple. After the Mangala Aarti the following morning, the holy water will be used for the ceremonial Jalabhishek of Lord Vishweshwar.

Throughout the nine days of Navratri, the temple will send offerings of clothes and adornments to Goddess Vishalakshi and other forms of Navdurga worshipped across Varanasi. Devotional rituals including the recitation of the Durga Saptashati will be performed daily as part of the Shakti worship traditions followed in the city.

Every evening, cultural programs will be organized at the Shivarchanam stage within the temple premises. One day during the festival will also be dedicated to the worship of Shringar Gauri Temple, following the long-standing traditions of Kashi.

The celebrations will conclude on Ram Navami with the recitation of Akhand Ramayan Path and a special Navami Yagya, where nine women representing the divine feminine will be invited as chief participants in the ritual.
