NEW DELHI: Harman has added six JBL party speakers to its India lineup, along with a pair of wireless microphones that use AI to strip the lead vocals out of a song for karaoke. The range runs from Rs 39,999 to Rs 99,999, and Harman says the products are available on in.jbl.com and through retail stores.
The new speakers are the PartyBox 720, PartyBox 330, PartyBox 130, PartyBox On-The-Go 2, PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus and PartyBox Encore 2 Plus. The microphones are sold as JBL PartyBox EasySing Mics. All prices below are from Harman India's release (price as of 8 October 2026, 1:20 AM IST).
The full price list
The PartyBox 720 is the flagship at Rs 99,999. The PartyBox 330 costs Rs 64,999 and the PartyBox 130 costs Rs 46,999. In the portable tier, the PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus is Rs 44,999, while the standard PartyBox On-The-Go 2 and the PartyBox Encore 2 Plus are Rs 39,999 each. All three portables are rated at 100W RMS with up to 15 hours of battery.
The PartyBox 720 is rated at 800W RMS. Harman lists dual 9-inch woofers and twin 30mm tweeters, up to 15 hours of battery, built-in wheels with a handle, and two XLR inputs for microphones or instruments. Its AI Sound Boost feature analyses the music signal in real time to push volume and bass without distortion, according to the release. It is also IPX4 splash resistant.
The PartyBox 330 is rated at 280W RMS with dual 6.5-inch woofers, up to 18 hours of battery, and a telescopic handle with wide wheels. The PartyBox 130 is rated at 200W RMS with dual 5.25-inch woofers, a foldable handle and up to 15 hours. Both get an optical input for connecting a TV, USB-C for lossless audio playback, Auracast for linking more JBL speakers, and IPX4 protection.
The karaoke angle
The feature Harman is pushing hardest is AI Vocal Removal. It works through the new EasySing microphones. The PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus and the PartyBox Encore 2 Plus each come with one EasySing mic, and JBL is also selling the mics as a standalone pair for owners of compatible PartyBox speakers. The idea is simple: play any song from your phone, and the system lowers or removes the original singer so you can sing over the track. Harman says the EasySing mics also offer voice boost, reverb, echo control and AI noise suppression, and run up to 10 hours on a charge at up to 30 metres from the speaker.
That matters because karaoke in India has usually meant hunting for a separate karaoke track on YouTube or an app. A speaker that does it on the fly with whatever you are already playing is a practical upgrade for family functions and house parties. The standard On-The-Go 2 at Rs 39,999 comes with a regular wireless mic instead. Harman also notes that AI Vocal Removal is not available on the flagship PartyBox 720, so the cheapest way into the feature is the Rs 39,999 Encore 2 Plus.
Harman is also pitching the range as everyday home audio rather than a once-a-year purchase. "Great audio shouldn't sit idle between big celebrations," Shekhar Datta, Head, Consumer Audio India, HARMAN India, said in the release, adding that the expanded range is meant to shift the category from occasion led usage to everyday home audio. The full announcement is on the Harman newsroom.
How it compares, and what to check
The launch lands days before Sony's second-generation ULT TOWER speakers go on sale, so buyers looking at Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh party speakers now have two fresh lineups to compare. JBL's range is more portable at the top end, since the PartyBox 720 runs on battery, while Sony's biggest model needs mains power.

Two things to confirm before paying. Harman's release does not list a separate price for the EasySing Mics pair, so check the figure on in.jbl.com before you add them to a cart. And with 800W speakers, check your housing society's noise rules too.
