Reliance Digital is listing the iPhone 17 Pro 256GB in Cosmic Orange at Rs 1,30,490 during its ongoing festive offers. A separate HDFC Bank promotion, which began on 7 October and runs until 13 October, advertises Rs 5,000 off an eligible full-swipe credit-card payment for this configuration.
That brings the calculated phone price to Rs 1,25,490 for an eligible existing cardholder if the discount appears at payment. It is not the price available to every buyer. Other supported cards have different offers, so the bank name alone is not enough to settle the comparison.
The checked phone and its current price
The Cosmic Orange 256GB listing showed Rs 1,30,490, price as of 11 October 2026, 9:20 AM IST, inclusive of taxes. The seller field names Reliance Retail Ltd. The page lists a one-year manufacturer warranty. This check does not establish a lowest-ever price or a fresh price cut on 11 October.
The site had Add to Cart and Buy Now controls. With its displayed Mumbai postcode of 400001, it showed free delivery by the following day and no cash-on-delivery option. That is a local delivery indication. Buyers elsewhere need to check their own postcode, and the date can change before an order is placed.
A much lower store-visit promotional figure also appeared above the product title. Its complete conditions were not established in this check, so it is excluded from the price calculation here. Nor does the calculation deduct any exchange value for an old phone.
Full-swipe discounts and the eligibility limits
The HDFC offer table assigns Rs 5,000 to full-swipe purchases of at least Rs 1 lakh. The offer is limited to iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, can be used once per card during the campaign, and excludes corporate and commercial cards. Eligibility depends on the net qualifying bill after returns, refunds, part payments and merchant discounts.
The terms also discuss EMI, including a six-month offer, but contain conflicting wording about no-cost EMI eligibility. This report does not use an EMI amount as the final ownership cost. The calculation above uses the separately labelled full-swipe row and the matching Rs 5,000 offer shown on this phone's page.
There is another current option for existing eligible cardholders. The product's bank list shows Rs 6,000 full-swipe discounts for IDFC FIRST Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and RBL Bank. The linked multi-bank campaign began on 2 October and ends on 13 October. Its Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1,99,999.99 spending tier supports that amount.
On the checked phone price, Rs 6,000 off would mean Rs 1,24,490, subject to eligibility and the payment screen. That is Rs 1,000 below the HDFC full-swipe calculation. The multi-bank offer also has a once-per-card limit, excludes corporate and commercial cards, and cannot be combined with another cashback or discount offer. These are alternative payment offers, not amounts to add together.
For a useful comparison, start with the exact phone price and then check the offer available on a card already held. An instalment shown beside a cash price answers a different question. Neither a monthly figure nor a maximum campaign saving should replace the actual amount payable for the chosen model.
Existing hardware, with the launch date kept clear
Apple announced the iPhone 17 Pro on 9 September 2025, with India availability from 19 September that year. This is a current retailer-offer check on an existing phone, not a new handset announcement. The Pro has a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120Hz and an A19 Pro chip.
Apple specifies three 48-megapixel rear cameras and an 18-megapixel Center Stage front camera. Its published hardware includes a vapour chamber and an aluminium body. These specifications identify the phone being discounted; this report makes no independent claim about tested camera quality, battery endurance or gaming performance.
For a separate retailer's conditions, see our Vijay Sales offer report. Anyone separately considering a trade-in can use the old-phone preparation checklist. An exchange quote should remain a separate line in the comparison rather than being treated as a guaranteed reduction for every buyer.
