NEW DELHI: Honda Cars India has put prices on the New Elevate, its updated mid-size SUV, and the range now runs from Rs 11,80,000 for the base SV manual to Rs 18,40,000 for the ZX+ Black CVT. These are ex-showroom Delhi figures from Honda's official price checker (price as of 7 October 2026, 2:30 AM IST).

There are six grades in all: SV, V, VX, ZX, ZX+ and a ZX+ Black edition at the top, with the SV offered only as a manual. Pre-bookings had opened last week, as we reported in our story on Rs 21,000 pre-bookings for the New Elevate.

New Honda Elevate price list, variant by variant

Manual versions: SV Rs 11,80,000, V Rs 12,29,000, VX Rs 13,93,000, ZX Rs 15,39,000, ZX+ Rs 16,80,000 and ZX+ Black Rs 16,90,000.

CVT automatic versions: V Rs 13,79,000, VX Rs 15,39,000, ZX Rs 16,89,000, ZX+ Rs 18,30,000 and ZX+ Black Rs 18,40,000. There is no CVT on the SV, so the cheapest automatic Elevate costs Rs 1.99 lakh more than the cheapest manual.

The CVT costs Rs 1.5 lakh more than the manual on most grades (Rs 1.46 lakh on the VX), and the Black edition costs Rs 10,000 more than the regular ZX+ in both gearboxes. All of these are ex-showroom prices. Registration, insurance and other charges will push the on-road figure well higher, and the amount differs from state to state.

What changes on the outside and in the cabin

Honda's model page describes a bolder mesh grille, tri-bar signature LED lights at the front and a connected LED tail lamp across the back. According to the official brochure, the tri-bar lights, LED fog lamps, sunroof and the connected tail lamp start from the VX grade. The SV and V make do with separate LED tail lamps and 16-inch steel wheels.

The feature list that will matter most to families in a hot Indian summer sits higher up the range. Front ventilated seats arrive on the ZX. The new ZX+ adds rear ventilated seats, a 360-degree surround view camera, front parking sensors, an 8-way powered driver's seat and a 4-way powered co-driver's seat. CVT ZX+ buyers can also pick a dual-tone paint job with a black roof.

The ZX+ Black edition gets gloss black multi-spoke 17-inch alloys, black door handles and garnishes and an all-black cabin with soft-touch trim, in place of the ivory and black theme used on the other grades. Honda's site lists an electric parking brake with auto hold, but the brochure limits this, along with rear disc brakes, to the CVT versions.

Honda SENSING, the company's driver assistance package, comes from the ZX grade. It bundles collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation, auto high beam and a lead car departure alert. Low speed follow for the adaptive cruise works only with the CVT.

On infotainment, the V and VX use an 8-inch touchscreen, while the ZX and above get a 10.25-inch screen with Honda's side view and rear view monitor functions. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are listed from the V grade.

Engine, mileage and colours

The mechanical package is unchanged in concept. The New Elevate uses Honda's 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or a CVT. There is no diesel, CNG or hybrid version. Honda quotes fuel efficiency of 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT, and boot space of 458 litres.

Honda lists ten paint options, including Nordic Forest Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Platinum White Pearl. Nordic Forest, Radiant Red and Platinum White are also offered with a Crystal Black Pearl roof.

What buyers should keep in mind

Honda's October offers page, which runs till 31 October 2026, lists benefits on the City and Amaze but none on the New Elevate when we checked. Anyone being quoted a discount on the updated SUV should ask the dealer to show where it comes from.

Price-wise, the Elevate now sits in a busy part of the market where festive deals on rival SUVs are larger, as seen in Kia India's festive benefits of up to Rs 1.60 lakh. Buyers weighing a hybrid alternative may also want to read our report on the Renault Duster strong hybrid.

Honda Cars India had not posted a launch press release on its press page by early Wednesday. The variant prices are on the company's official price checker, and the feature split is in the brochure on the New Elevate model page.
