GURUGRAM: For families in Gurugram who want a night out of the city without a long highway drive, Manesar is one of the obvious directions. Heritage Village Resorts and Spa, Manesar is among the older resort properties on that stretch, built in a Rajasthani palace style. This guide sets out what the resort's own website says about its rooms, restaurants and activities, as read on 7 October 2026.

Start with the address, which the site gives in two slightly different forms. The contact page lists NH-8, Manesar, Gurgaon, 122050, while the resort's own page carries Naharpur Road, Manesar, Gurugram, 122050 in its header. Both point to the same property just off the Delhi-Jaipur highway.

The drive times on the site do not quite agree either. The contact page says it is 30 minutes from the international airport and 20 minutes from Gurgaon's business district. The FAQ gives 43 minutes from the airport, and the resort page says 30 minutes from Gurgaon city centre, 40 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Delhi. Plan for the longer figure if you are driving at peak hours.

The resort page lists check-in at 2 pm and check-out at 11 am. It describes the property as pet-friendly and mentions a Kids' Club and large lawns. The FAQ adds that guests should look at the official website for specific pet guidelines, which suggests there are rules worth reading before you bring a dog along.

There are seven room categories on the page. Heritage Superior, Heritage Deluxe and Heritage Premium rooms are each listed at 318 sq ft. The page says the Superior rooms face the gardens, that balcony rooms in that category are on the first floor with twin beds, subject to availability, and that Deluxe rooms take up to three guests.

All rooms are air-conditioned, according to the resort page, which lists Rajasthani decor, satellite TV, bathrooms with bathtubs and garden or pool views, along with complimentary Wi-Fi across the property. Since the three standard categories share the same floor area, the difference between them on paper comes down to view, layout and fittings, so it is worth asking which one you are being offered before paying more.

The suites step up from there. Aangan Suites are listed at 528 sq ft with a sit-out or balcony over the lawns, Deluxe Suites at 636 sq ft with a separate living room for up to three guests, and Haveli Suites at 815 sq ft. The largest category is the Heritage Villa at 830 sq ft, which the resort says has its own sit-out, a living area and a private plunge pool.

Where to eat and what to do

The page names four places to eat and drink. Suvarna Mahal is described as the main restaurant, with Rajasthani-style interiors and buffet spreads. Mama Miso serves a pan-Asian menu, and the FAQ notes that the group runs a Mama Miso at its Goa property too. Red Lounge is the bar, which the page says doubles as a discotheque in the evenings, and a lobby Patisserie serves teas, coffee and baked goods.

Menus and prices are not published on the pages we read, and the site does not say whether people who are not staying can book a table. Anyone thinking of driving down only for lunch should confirm that first with the property.

Activities are where the resort's pitch is busiest. Its page lists a weekend programme that includes an instructor-led RC aircraft session, a golf cart ride and golf clinic, yoga with an instructor, a cocktail demonstration, an alpine camping experience, a Victoria carriage ride, live Rajasthani music and dance, and what it calls MasterChef cooking classes. The page frames these as weekend activities, so a weekday visit may not include all of them.

The FAQ adds an organic garden tour, special astronomical viewing sessions and drone flying, along with cycling around the grounds. The resort page also mentions paddle boarding, paintball and power cricket, an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and the Aruna Spa. Dalimss News makes no claims about the effects of any spa treatment, and the site does not say which activities are included in a room rate and which cost extra.

For a visit with grandparents or a mixed-age group, the useful detail is the spread of slower activities alongside the busier ones. Carriage rides, garden tours and live music sit on the same list as paintball and drone sessions, which makes it easier to plan a day where not everyone has to do the same thing.

The website also carries a long run of guest testimonials and several package and booking offers. This guide does not repeat those, because offers change often and are not something Dalimss News can verify. Rates are shown only on the booking engine at the time you search.

If a day out with some history attached appeals more than a resort stay, our guide to visiting the Heritage Transport Museum at Taoru covers a museum about an hour's drive south. The state's own list of heritage places in and around Gurugram is another starting point for weekend plans.

As with any resort listing, timings, activity schedules and pet rules can change between seasons. The resort lists a property phone line and a central reservations number on its contact page, and a call before you set out is the simplest way to check what will be running on your dates.
