Haryana opens NEET UG Round 3 registration and choice filling till 10 October

Haryana has opened Round 3 of state NEET UG counselling for MBBS and BDS seats. Fresh registration, editing of details, online choice submission and choice locking run from 28 September 2026 to 10 October 2026, up to 11:59 pm, on the official admission portal.

The schedule is published on uhsrugcounselling.com, the counselling site used by the Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Haryana, with Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, as the admission venue for document checks. Candidates are also told to watch uhsr.ac.in and dmer.haryana.gov.in for updates.

Who can take part in Round 3

The Round 3 block covers three groups. First, registered candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 or Round 2. Second, candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 or 2 but did not join. Third, candidates who joined a Round 1 or 2 seat and now want to upgrade; the upgrade willingness option appears on their login.

Fresh registration on the same portal is part of the 28 September to 10 October window. Editing of information already submitted online is also allowed in that period, along with choice filling and locking. Leaving choices unlocked at the close of the window is risky; candidates should lock deliberately after reviewing the seat matrix.

Allotment, fee and Rohtak reporting

Provisional seat allocation is listed for 12 October 2026. The same day is also marked for grievances on the provisional list and for uploading the final allocation list after grievances are handled. Online deposition of provisional tuition fee through the admission web portal only is open from 12 to 14 October 2026, up to 11:00 pm.

Physical document verification for candidates who have a provisional allotment and have paid the fee is scheduled for 15 and 16 October 2026 from 9:00 am at UHS Rohtak. Personal appearance with all original documents before the Admission Committee is mandatory. Missing that appearance means the candidature is not considered, even if the fee was paid online.

Provisional admission letters can be downloaded between 15 and 17 October 2026 after successful verification. The last date of joining the allotted institute is 17 October 2026, up to 4:00 pm.

Certificates Haryana is checking this year

The portal banner repeats category-certificate rules that have already tripped applicants in earlier rounds. For BCA and BCB, the creamy or non-creamy layer certificate must follow Haryana Welfare Department notification dated 16 July 2024, and certificates issued after 1 April 2026 are the ones treated as valid for this admission year. For EWS, the income and asset certificate must follow the state notification dated 4 October 2022, again with issue after 1 April 2026. Other SC and SC Deprived certificates must match the 15 May 2020 state notification.

Uploading an older certificate that does not meet those cut-off dates is a common reason for rejection at Rohtak. Get a fresh certificate before choice locking if your current one is dated before 1 April 2026.

Private college warning

The Round 3 notice states that any admission made by a private medical or dental institute in Haryana, including private universities, at its own level outside this counselling is not valid. Seat moves that do not flow through the state portal will be treated as null.

For families in Gurugram, Faridabad, Rohtak and the rest of the state still hunting an MBBS or BDS seat, the practical checklist is short: register or reopen the login by 10 October night, lock choices after reading the matrix, keep fee money ready for 12 to 14 October, and book travel to Rohtak for 15 or 16 October if allotted.
