GURUGRAM: You do not need a club membership or a full round on a championship course to start hitting golf balls in this city. Near Palam Vihar, a short drive from IFFCO Chowk, Hamoni Golf Camp runs a large driving range with practice greens, a coaching academy and a cafe on the same grounds. This guide sets out what the camp's own pages say about getting in, what it costs and when it is open, as read on 8 October 2026.

The address on the contact page is CK Farm, Carterpuri, Sector 23A, Gurugram, close to Palam Vihar and opposite the Maruti Udyog plant. The camp says it is about 3 km from IFFCO Chowk and easy to reach from South Delhi. It is open from 6 am to 10 pm, Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Mondays. Early mornings and evenings are the obvious slots for anyone fitting practice around office hours.

Hamoni describes itself as India's largest standalone golf training facility, a claim this guide reports as the camp's own. Its features page lists 105 driving range bays, nine target greens, four practice greens for putting and chipping, 19 bunkers and a natural turf practice zone it calls the Ace Pen. The range is floodlit for night golf, and the camp uses Srixon balls, according to the page.

There is also a nine-hole pitch and putt course, and each green has two flags so it can be played as nine or 18 holes. The pitch and putt page is clear that the circuit is only available for private events on special request, so it is not something a casual visitor can walk on to. A downloadable scorecard on the site carries the yardages and local rules.

Entry works through the camp's own HGC card or its app. As of 8 October 2026, 8:54 am IST, the pricing page lists an entry fee of Rs 500 per person with the card or app. Ball rental is Rs 150 for a bag of 50 balls, and a club can be rented for Rs 200. The page adds that all prices carry 18 per cent GST on top, and that weekend rates apply on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Passes, coaching and the cafe

For regular players there is an HGC Master Pass, which the page says includes unlimited ball rental and access to the grass bays. It is listed at Rs 12,000 for one month, Rs 24,000 for three months, Rs 50,000 for six months and Rs 80,000 for a year, before GST. The six-month and one-year passes also include the Ace Pen. The pass is tied to the cardholder, cannot be transferred or refunded, and runs from the purchase date regardless of holidays or missed days.

A separate Rs 1,000 day pass with unlimited balls and grass bays is not open to everyone. The page limits it to top-five amateurs, juniors ranked by the Indian Golf Union and current professionals on the PGTI, WGAI and IGPL tours. The HGC card page itself mentions a Rs 1,000 figure and says cards are registered at the Entry Hut or Hamoni Lodge, but does not spell out what that amount covers, so it is worth asking at the counter.

The academy offers individual and group coaching with certified instructors and a swing studio that uses GC Quad, V1 Pro and FlightScope systems for video analysis. According to the coaching page, lessons include the entry fee, up to 100 balls and the clubs, with the balls issued 15 to 20 minutes before the session. A six-lesson package is valid for 30 days and a 12-lesson package for 60 days. Lesson prices sit in a separate pricing document that this guide has not quoted.

Beyond the range, the features page lists a pro shop that it describes as a Golf Pride certified grip centre, a club repair centre and a shower facility, which helps anyone coming straight from or going straight to work. The camp's app can be used to recharge the card, track the balance and view invoices, according to the site. For a first-timer, that means the practical steps are simple: register a card at the entry point, rent a bag of balls and a club, and take a bay.

Children have their own track. The junior golf page lists summer camps, a player development programme run at three levels, one-on-one coaching and group sessions for four to six juniors. The camp says it provides US Kids Golf clubs for junior sessions, and all junior lessons and camps are for ages 17 and below.

Hamoni: Cafe by the Greens sits on the same grounds, with outdoor pebbled seating and string lights, according to the cafe page. It keeps different hours from the range, opening 1 pm to 11 pm on Mondays, when the range itself is shut, and 9 am to 11 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. The page mentions parking, Wi-Fi and an outdoor smoking zone.

One caution before you go. The site footer still reads 2022, and the pricing page says fees and features can change without notice, so it is sensible to check the current rates with the camp before a first visit. For golf on a full course, this site has a list of golf courses around Gurugram and a guide to day visits and golf at Karma Lakelands in Sector 80.
