BENGALURU: Gravity, an interior materials platform co-founded by former Livspace executives Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, has raised $15 million in a combined equity and debt round, according to a note published on 30 September 2026 by 3one4 Capital. The firm said it co-led the financing with Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures and unnamed angel investors drawn from investment funds, listed companies and startups.

The investor note describes Gravity as a full-stack operating platform for India's premium interior materials market. It says the company consolidates specialist kitchen and wardrobe businesses onto a shared technology, distribution and key-account backbone aimed at design-and-build studios, modular showrooms and architects who currently buy through fragmented regional dealers.

What Gravity says it does

Professional specifiers, including interior architects and turnkey design firms, direct a large share of material buying for kitchens, wardrobes, surfaces and hardware. 3one4 Capital puts that design-specified material wallet at about $15 billion, or roughly Rs 1.5 lakh crore, a year. Those figures come from the investor and have not been independently checked for this report.

According to the note, Gravity's shared infrastructure includes dedicated key-account managers for multi-category orders, digitised inventory and order tracking, quality checks across specialist suppliers, and coordinated warehouse dispatches meant to deliver project-ready material kits to installation sites. The pitch is pricing transparency and fewer mismatched deliveries for independent design studios that today juggle separate dealers for hardware, cabinet materials and laminates.

The initial focus is kitchens and wardrobes. Longer-term category plans listed by the investor include doors and windows, lighting, wall and surface finishes, and architectural hardware such as locks and glass fittings. 3one4 Capital frames the longer ambition as becoming material infrastructure for a wider Indian home interiors market that it values at about $35 billion, another estimate that is not independently verified here.

Founders and claimed scale

3one4 Capital says Saurabh Jain previously served as chief executive for Livspace India and Lalit Mittal as chief business officer for India, roles in which they are said to have scaled commercial operations across about thirty urban markets and worked with thousands of design partners. The firm states it has backed the pair from the start of Gravity and presents that operating background as central to the investment thesis.

The same note claims Gravity has reached a multi-hundred-crore revenue scale and EBITDA positivity from inception. Those are investor claims. Gravity has not published audited financial statements or a company press release on a public corporate website that we could locate, so revenue and profitability figures should be read as attributed assertions rather than verified results.

Use of funds and caveats

With the new equity and debt capital, 3one4 Capital says Gravity plans to deepen its presence in top metro markets and broaden its product portfolio beyond kitchens and wardrobes. The note does not break out how much of the $15 million is equity versus debt, nor does it disclose valuation, board seats or governance terms.

Several other points remain unclear. The precise list of angel investors was not named beyond broad categories. No independent company homepage or public email contact for Gravity was found on the official pages consulted for this story. Readers should treat market-size and financial claims as coming from the lead investor's blog dated 30 September 2026, rather than from audited filings or a Gravity corporate release.
