NEW DELHI: The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G costs Rs 35,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version on Samsung's India online store, against a listed price of Rs 46,999. The 8GB and 128GB version is Rs 40,999, down from Rs 51,999. Samsung's buy page also shows a further Rs 2,500 off at checkout that brings the base model to Rs 33,499. Price as of 22 October 2026, 9:40 PM IST.
Samsung shows a Rs 1,000 First Purchase Benefit on top for buyers shopping on Samsung.com for the first time. The A27 5G is the cheaper sibling of the Galaxy A37 in Samsung's mid-range, and it is sold in Black, Light Pink and Light Green.
Galaxy A27 5G price and variants
6GB + 128GB: Rs 35,999 on Samsung.com (listed at Rs 46,999). Available in Black, Light Pink and Light Green.
8GB + 128GB: Rs 40,999 (listed at Rs 51,999). Samsung shows prices for Black and Light Pink. Light Green in this memory option had no price on the page when we checked, so Samsung was not offering it at that time.
8GB + 256GB: listed on the page in Light Green, but with no price shown.
The step from 6GB to 8GB RAM costs Rs 5,000 with the same 128GB of storage. For most buyers who keep a phone for several years, the extra RAM is worth more than it looks, given Samsung's long update promise.
Galaxy A27 5G specifications
Samsung's product page lists the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and a 16.91 cm FHD+ Super AMOLED display with Vision Booster for outdoor visibility. Samsung says the LPDDR5X memory used with this chip performs only up to LPDDR5 levels, a footnote worth noting for anyone comparing spec sheets.
On the back are three cameras: a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5MP ultra wide and a 2MP macro. The front camera is 12MP. One line on Samsung's buy page describes a 200 MP main camera, but the product page and its footnotes give 50 MP for the rear wide camera, which is the figure to go by.
The battery is rated at 5,000 mAh (typical). Samsung says Super Fast Charging takes it to 45 percent in 30 minutes. The phone has IP64 dust and splash protection and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front.
Samsung promises six generations of Android OS upgrades and security updates for the A27 5G, though it adds that timing can vary by model and market. For a phone bought at Rs 35,999, a long update window is a large part of the value, since it keeps the phone on supported software for years after purchase.
How it sits against the Galaxy A37 and F70
Samsung's Galaxy A page lists the Galaxy A37 from Rs 42,999, so the base A27 5G is Rs 7,000 cheaper before checkout offers. Our report on the A37 and A57 covers what the extra money buys in that phone.
Buyers on a tighter budget can look at the Galaxy F70 5G, which Flipkart sells at Rs 19,999. It costs about Rs 13,500 less than the A27 after the checkout discount, and our F70 report sets out the hardware and charger differences that come with the lower price.
Before you buy
The Rs 2,500 checkout discount and the Rs 1,000 first-purchase benefit apply on Samsung.com, and offers there change often during the festive season. Check that the discount appears in the cart before paying, and keep a screenshot of the order summary.
The A27 5G is listed on Samsung's own store, so warranty and service run through Samsung India's service network. Check the in-box contents listed on the product page before ordering, so that you know whether you need to buy a charger separately. If the phone arrives damaged, raise it with Samsung's support on the day of delivery and keep the box and invoice.
