Foreign National Arrested After Ransacking Houses and Biting Resident

VARANASI — A wave of shock and anxiety gripped the high-density Saptasagar Medicine Market area under the Kotwali police station jurisdiction after a foreign national allegedly went on a violent rampage. The individual forcefully entered multiple residential houses, trashed household property, and bit a local resident during the ensuing commotion.
The disruptive episode left the neighborhood terrified before a prompt police intervention brought the situation under control.
Sudden Rampage Triggers Chaos in the Locality
According to eyewitnesses in the Saptasagar neighborhood, the foreign national began behaving erratically on the streets before entering private residences without warning. Once inside, the individual reportedly began grabbing household appliances, utensils, and personal items, throwing them onto the floor and out into the streets.
When panicked residents attempted to intervene and pacify the individual, the confrontation turned physical. During the scuffle, the foreign national allegedly bit a local man, escalating the terror among onlookers. Seeing the situation turn dangerous, the market vendors and residents immediately notified the local police emergency helpline.
