New Five-Day Spiritual Triangle Tour Starts in Varanasi at ₹13,000

VARANASI: The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation has launched a four-night, five-day “Spiritual Triangle” package connecting Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya in a single road itinerary. The tour begins in Varanasi at 1 pm and combines temple visits, riverfront experiences, Buddhist heritage and guided travel. It has been introduced under the state's “Visit My State” campaign for the festive season, when first-time pilgrims often struggle to coordinate transport and bookings across the three cities.

The Varanasi leg includes Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Kund and Assi Ghat, along with a boat ride and the Ganga Aarti. On the second day, the itinerary lists priority or VIP darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, followed by Annapurna and Kaal Bhairav temples. Visitors are then taken to Sarnath for Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, the Bodhi tree and the Ashoka pillar museum, with a Banaras Hindu University visit also included.

The circuit moves to Prayagraj on day three for Anand Bhavan, the Sangam and the reclining Hanuman temple. Ayodhya follows on day four, with Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan, Dashrath Mahal, Ram temple darshan and the evening aarti at Saryu Ghat. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said the idea is to place the three major spiritual centres on one organised path, making a multi-city pilgrimage easier to manage.

Pricing depends on group size and vehicle. A sedan requires at least four passengers and costs ₹14,400 per person. A group of at least six travelling in a larger vehicle is charged ₹13,000 per person. The stated package includes air-conditioned road travel, a boat ride, a guide, four nights in air-conditioned accommodation on twin sharing and breakfast. Lunch and dinner are not included, a detail travellers should factor into the real trip budget.
