Varanasi, September 6, 2026: Marking the 31st anniversary of Bob’s Gym and the launch of the ‘Bob’s Run Club’, an exciting and unique fitness event, ‘The Kachori Run’, was organised in Varanasi on Sunday morning by Dalimss News and Bob's Gym Sigra , Bob's Gym Lanka and Bob's Gym XL .
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 100 people across different age groups, who came together to celebrate fitness in a fun and unconventional way. The 1.5 kilometre run combined physical activity with the city’s much-loved culinary tradition—Banarasi kachori.
What made the event unique was its concept of enjoying kachoris while running, giving participants an opportunity to stay active without giving up their favourite local food. The event highlighted the message that maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle does not necessarily mean completely giving up the foods one loves.
Participants from different age groups took part with great enthusiasm, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere throughout the run. The event also aimed to make fitness more enjoyable by connecting it with Banaras’ local culture, food and spirit.
The event was attended by Mr. Maahir Madhok, Mr. Saurav Yadav, Ms. Sneha, Mr. Sagar, Mr. Gayasuddin and Mr. Shibu Khan, among others. The guests encouraged the participants and appreciated the unique concept of bringing together fitness and the traditional flavours of Varanasi.
With the launch of Bob’s Run Club, the event also marked an effort to encourage more people to incorporate running and physical activity into their daily lives.
‘The Kachori Run’ successfully brought together fitness, fun and the flavour of Banaras, proving that you can run for fitness and still enjoy your favourite kachori.
