Explosions Rock Tehran as Reported United States–Israel Strikes Escalate Tensions with Iran

Tehran: Tensions in the Middle East intensified after more than 20 powerful explosions were reported across Iran’s capital following overnight strikes allegedly carried out by United States and Israel.
According to early reports, the strikes targeted several military-related locations in Tehran, marking one of the most significant attacks since the latest phase of the regional conflict began. Residents reported hearing multiple loud blasts across different parts of the city during the night, while videos circulating on social media appeared to show large fireballs and smoke rising over the skyline.
Amid the escalating situation, former Donald Trump indicated that the conflict could continue for several more weeks, suggesting that tensions in the region may persist in the near future.
In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a strong statement saying that Iran will determine how and when the conflict ends, signaling a potential retaliation as the situation develops.
Security analysts say the latest strikes highlight the fragile security environment in the Middle East, where geopolitical rivalries and military confrontations continue to raise fears of a wider regional escalation.
Authorities have not yet released full details regarding the extent of damage or casualties, and the situation remains fluid as international attention focuses on the rapidly evolving conflict.
