Dwarka Shankaracharya Backs Swami Avimukteshwaranand Amidst Title Controversy.

VARANASI/PRAYAGRAJ: The ongoing dispute regarding the legitimacy of the Shankaracharya title has taken a new turn, with Swami Sadanand Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of Sharda Peeth, Dwarka, extending his full support to Swami Avimukteshwaranand.
Amidst the notice issued by the Prayagraj Mela Authority questioning Swami Avimukteshwaranand's status, Swami Sadanand Saraswati has come forward to back him.
This support from another major Peeth adds significant religious weight to Avimukteshwaranand's claim, countering the administration's stance that the matter is sub-judice and the title cannot be used.
This development follows the UP government's recent move to question Swami Avimukteshwaranand's designation as the Shankaracharya of Jyotishpeeth, citing a pending Supreme Court decision.
