Dilapidated Varanasi Municipal Corporation Building in Jaitpura Raises Safety Concerns Among Residents

A severely dilapidated property belonging to the Varanasi Municipal Corporation near a sanitation outpost in the Jaitpura area of Varanasi has become a major concern for local residents. The building is reportedly in a highly deteriorated condition and poses a serious safety risk to people living nearby.
Residents claim that despite the dangerous condition of the structure, several individuals are illegally residing inside the building. Locals fear that the weakened walls and fragile roof could collapse at any moment, potentially leading to a serious accident and loss of life or property.
According to people in the area, multiple complaints have been submitted to the municipal authorities regarding the issue. However, residents allege that no concrete action has been taken so far, and the illegal occupants continue to stay inside the risky structure.
Officials from the Varanasi Municipal Corporation have stated that officers will soon be sent to inspect the site. Based on the findings of the investigation, appropriate action will be taken to resolve the issue and ensure the safety of the public.
