Varanasi: A large number of devotees are visiting the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. With temperatures gradually rising in the city, the temple administration has implemented several arrangements to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims arriving for darshan.

To protect visitors from the intense heat and direct sunlight, German hangars have been installed across the temple corridor. These temporary structures provide shade for devotees waiting in queues, helping them avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.

In addition, jute mats have been laid along the walking paths so that devotees can comfortably walk barefoot without experiencing discomfort from the hot ground. The initiative aims to make movement through the temple premises easier for pilgrims during the summer season.

The administration has also arranged adequate drinking water facilities throughout the temple area. Water coolers, fans, and other basic amenities have been installed at several points across the premises to help devotees stay hydrated and cool during their visit.

Many devotees visiting the temple have appreciated these measures and expressed gratitude towards the temple administration. Several visitors said the arrangements have made the darshan process smoother and more comfortable despite the rising temperatures.

The steps taken by the administration highlight the ongoing efforts to manage large crowds at one of the country’s most revered religious sites while ensuring a safe and convenient experience for thousands of pilgrims who visit the temple every day.
