VARANASI: Renowned stand-up comedian Zakir Khan visited the holy city of Varanasi on Saturday, seeking a break from his busy schedule to experience the city's spiritual calm.
Zakir spent his time exploring the iconic Ganga Ghats and took a boat ride on the river. Adopting the persona of a common tourist, he was seen sitting on the steps, enjoying Tulsi tea and biscuits by the riverside. Although he tried to keep a low profile, fans eventually recognized the star, leading to a spree of selfies.
A Spiritual Connection: Reflecting on his visit, the "Sakht Launda" fame artist shared his deep connection with the city.
"I feel a unique sense of peace here. Spiritual places like Kashi provide mental solace amidst a busy life. The echoing Aartis and the flow of the Ganga attract me," he said.
