Milk Trader Kashinath Yadav Killed in Scorpio Hit in Cholapur

Varanasi, June 24, 2026: Milk trader Kashinath Yadav, 53, was killed after a Scorpio allegedly struck him at Katthalganj crossing in the Cholapur police-station area early Wednesday.

Yadav, a resident of Udhourampur Mahdeva, was on the road at around 4.40 am when the collision took place. The impact reportedly threw him about 15 metres from the point of contact.

The driver left the vehicle’s path and fled after the collision. Police recovered a number plate from the scene and began efforts to identify and trace the Scorpio and its driver.
