CBSE Class XII Supplementary verification and re-evaluation window ran 7-8 September

The Central Board of Secondary Education set a short online window for Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026 verification of marks and re-evaluation on 07.09.2026 and 08.09.2026. The governing file is Notice CBSE/Coord/Veri/Class-XII/2026 dated 27.08.2026, titled Notice for Post Result Declaration Facilities to the Students, Class XII Supplementary Examination, 2026. Annexure-I on that notice prints the fee and duration table for obtaining a scanned copy of evaluated answer books, verification of marks, and re-evaluation for the Senior Secondary Supplementary Examination (2025-2026).
This is an examination post-result facility for Class XII Supplementary candidates. It is not the CBSE National Teachers' Conference registration extension under Training Unit Circular TRG-18/2026. Teachers registering for NTC 2026 on Computational Thinking and AI use the training portal. Supplementary candidates use the Board's online post-result process described in the 27.08.2026 notice.
Annexure-I dates, fees and the two-stage process
Annexure-I splits the work into two stages. Obtaining a scanned copy of evaluated answer books was open for online applications from 31.08.2026 (Monday) to 01.09.2026 (Tuesday) at Rs 100 per subject. Verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both then opened for online applications from 07.09.2026 (Monday) to 08.09.2026 (Tuesday). Verification costs Rs 100 per answer book. Re-evaluation costs Rs 100 per question.
The body of the notice makes the order mandatory. In the first stage, students request the scanned answer book of the desired subject. In the second stage, they may apply for verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both. Candidates will be eligible to apply for verification and/or re-evaluation only after getting the scanned copy of the answer book. Only those who applied for a scanned copy in the prescribed manner are eligible for the second stage.
The complete process for request and fee payment is online. Requests are accepted only online during the specified schedules with processing charges. No application after the scheduled date and time, and no offline mode, will be accepted. Fee can be paid only online through UPI, credit card, debit card or net banking. Postal Order, DD, Money Order, cheque or cash are not accepted. Only a single application for each step per candidate is accepted. Applications not submitted as per CBSE instructions are summarily rejected without correspondence.
What verification and re-evaluation can change
Re-evaluation is accepted only for the theory portion and is carried out for the full question, not for a part of a question. Applicants must refer to the marking scheme for the subject, available on the website along with the question paper, and submit reasoning for the full question or questions challenged. The status of re-evaluation is uploaded on the website. The result of re-evaluation is final, and no appeal or review against re-evaluation will be entertained. A decrease of even one mark shall be affected. The same one-mark decrease rule applies across the listed activities. Where marks change, up or down, candidates must surrender the Mark Statement cum Certificate in their possession and receive a new one. Fee is refunded if marks increase after verification and/or re-evaluation, into the same account from which it was paid.
Annexure-II(A) and Annexure-II(B) walk students through checking totals, unmarked questions, cover-page posting errors and marking-scheme mismatches before they write to CBSE. The notice also states that a scanned copy under the RTI Act 2005 follows RTI provisions, but request for re-evaluation or grievance redressal cannot be made under the RTI Act and shall not be entertained. CBSE asks students and parents not to rely on unverified social media posts or unofficial sources, and points them to official CBSE channels and Regional Offices or CBSE Helplines.
The notice is issued from CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Phase-1, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077, and is signed for the Controller of Examinations. The desk URL for the PDF is https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/documents/NOTICE_POST_RESULT_DECLARATION_FACILITIES_XII_SUPPLEMENTARY_2026_27082026.pdf. Readers arriving after 08.09.2026 should treat Annexure-I as the record of the closed 07.09.2026-08.09.2026 verification and re-evaluation window, and watch only official CBSE updates for any later facility.
Notice CBSE/Coord/Veri/Class-XII/2026 dated 27.08.2026, Annexure-I, is the Class XII Supplementary post-result calendar: scanned copies 31.08.2026-01.09.2026 at Rs 100 per subject, then verification and/or re-evaluation 07.09.2026-08.09.2026 at Rs 100 per answer book for verification and Rs 100 per question for re-evaluation. That examination facility, not NTC teacher registration, is the story.
