Boat Collision Near Dashashwamedh Ghat After Ganga Aarti, Man Rescued by NDRF

A minor accident occurred in the Ganges River near Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi shortly after the evening Ganga Aarti, when a cruise vessel collided with a civil boat in front of Manikarnika Ghat.
According to reports, the collision created panic among passengers on both boats. During the incident, a man identified as Monu lost his balance and fell into the river from the civil boat.
On receiving information about the accident, a patrolling team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) quickly reached the location. The NDRF patrol boat, led by Inspector Vineet Singh, immediately launched a rescue operation.
The rescue team successfully pulled the man out of the river and provided first aid at the spot. Officials confirmed that he was in stable condition after the rescue.
After being rescued, Monu expressed his gratitude to the NDRF personnel for their swift response and timely assistance. The quick action of the rescue team helped avert a potentially serious situation along the busy riverfront.
