Bihar BCECE mop-up willingness and choice filling open from 27 August

From this morning, leftover BCECE seats in the Joint stream and the Agriculture stream move into an online mop-up. Adv. No. BCECEB(BCECE)-2026/12, dated 25.08.2026, puts Consent / Willingness-cum-Choice filling on 27.08.2026. This is not Bihar’s medical UGMAC round, and it is not the ITI mop-up. It is the engineering-and-agriculture leftover round after Round 2.

The Board’s short notice 2026/12 points to the detailed advertisement, Adv. No. BCECEB(BCECE)-2026/11 of the same date, for the clock, the portals and the document list. Both PDFs are on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Helpdesk mail printed on the notices is helpdesk.bceceboard@bihar.gov.in.

Two streams, one mop-up calendar

Advertisement 2026/11 splits the mop-up into two parallel tables with identical dates.

(A) BCECE Agriculture — CBA / PCA / MBA / MCA.

(B) BCECE Joint — PCM / PCB / PCMB.

For both: seat matrix posting on the website on 26.08.2026; starting date of Consent / Willingness-cum-Choice filling for seat allotment on 27.08.2026; last date of Consent / Willingness-cum-Choice filling and locking on 31.08.2026; mop-up provisional seat allotment result on 04.09.2026; download of the allotment order from 04.09.2026 to 09.09.2026; document verification and admission from 07.09.2026 to 09.09.2026.

That is a tight arc. Willingness opens today. Locking is Sunday, 31 August. Allotment is the following Friday. Physical reporting is a three-day window the week after. Families who treat mop-up as a casual extra round tend to miss the lock.

Round 2 files are already in the Board’s download section: Second Round Seat Allotment Result of BCECE-JOINT (PCM/PCB/PCMB)-2026 and the Agriculture counterpart, with opening-and-closing-rank PDFs beside them. The mop-up is what follows those leftover seats. The earlier online-counselling advertisements cited in 2026/12 are BCECEB(BCECE)-2026/06 and 2026/07 dated 12.07.2026.

Consent first. Then a fresh choice list.

The detailed notice is firm on sequence. Candidates log in on the matching portal linked from the Board home — “Online Portal of BCECE(PCM / PCB / PCMB)-2026” for the Joint stream, “Online Portal of BCECE(CBA/ PCA/ MBA/ MCA)-2026” for Agriculture — with registration number and password. Online mop-up counselling then asks for Consent / Willingness, with OTP authentication on the registered email ID.

Without that consent, existing choices are treated as Null & Void for the mop-up. Fresh choice filling of colleges and branches is what the mop-up uses. Edit inside the schedule, then lock. Unlocking, where the portal still allows it, again goes through OTP on the registered mobile and email. Print the locked choices. Do not assume a Round 2 list will be reused if you never click willingness.

Seat allotment, once published, is to be read after login. The notice also flags a later “Online Mop-up Round-2 Counselling” line on the website if the Board opens one; that is a future link, not today’s clock. Today is willingness and choice filling.

What to carry if a seat comes through

After 4 September, download the provisional allotment order from the same portal and report at the listed Reporting Centre for document verification. The detailed notice’s document block, where the English lines are readable, includes a copy of Aadhaar; a hard copy of the BCECE-2026 online application confirmation page; the Rank Card of BCECE-2026; the choice slip from online counselling; the downloaded provisional allotment order; and the verification slip in two copies plus the biometric form in one copy. Category papers (including SMQ and DQ where claimed) belong in that pile as well. Garbled Hindi lines on the scan are not being invented here; use the PDF itself as the checklist.

This mop-up does not admit anyone to MBBS. UGMAC Round 1 document verification is a separate Board advertisement. Keep the two logins apart.
