BHU posts B.V.Sc Round 2 NEET cut-offs; fee payment closes 30 September morning

Banaras Hindu University has released Round 2 allotment cut-offs for the B.V.Sc. and A.H. programme for 2026-27. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must pay the admission fee on the university portal by 11:59 am on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. Missing that clock means the seat is cancelled.

The notice, dated 28 September 2026, is on the BHU Central Admission Committee page for B.V.Sc. Round 2 allotment and fee payment. It lists category-wise closing NEET ranks for Round II and sets physical reporting and class-start dates for mid-October.

Round 2 closing ranks

According to the cut-off table on the notice, the Round II closing NEET ranks are 46,531 for the unreserved category, 57,985 for EWS, 54,936 for OBC, 1,91,262 for SC and 1,98,034 for ST. These figures are the ranks published by BHU for this round. They are not All India Quota MCC ranks for other veterinary colleges.

Round 1 for the same course closed earlier this week, with a fee deadline on the morning of 28 September. Round 2 is the next allotment cycle for seats that stayed vacant or opened after Round 1 movements. Applicants should open their Admission Portal dashboard, confirm the allotment shown against their login, and check eligibility before paying.

Fee deadline and what happens if you miss it

The university has fixed fee payment for Round 2 allottees up to 11:59 am on 30 September 2026. The notice says non-payment within that window leads to cancellation of the allotted seat, forfeiture of associated rights, and exclusion from later rounds tied to that allotment.

BHU advises candidates to finish payment early and to use a PC or laptop rather than a phone if the payment gateway is unstable. Keep the payment receipt and a screenshot of the successful dashboard status. If the bank debit succeeds but the portal still shows unpaid, raise a ticket through the admission help channel listed on the site instead of paying again blindly.

Reporting and start of classes

Physical reporting is scheduled for Wednesday, 14 October 2026. Classes are listed to begin on Thursday, 15 October 2026. Exact venue, document checklist and any hostel instructions will follow on the Admission Portal and the official BHU website. The notice asks candidates to keep checking both.

B.V.Sc. and A.H. at BHU is a five-and-a-half-year veterinary programme. Admissions for this cycle are tied to NEET UG 2026 scores through BHU's own central admission process for the course, separate from state veterinary counselling in Uttar Pradesh. Students who also hold a state allotment must read both prospectuses before resigning any seat.

What Varanasi and Mirzapur applicants should do today

If your dashboard shows a Round 2 seat, pay before the Wednesday morning cut-off. If you were not allotted, watch for any further mop-up or vacant-seat notice. Do not rely on WhatsApp forwards for cut-off numbers; only the ranks on the 28 September BHU notice count for this round.

For document preparation ahead of 14 October reporting, keep NEET scorecard, admit card, category certificate where applicable, transfer and migration papers, and photo identity ready in original and photocopy sets. The university can still refuse joining if eligibility documents fail verification even after fee payment.

Parents tracking the Varanasi veterinary intake should treat 30 September morning as hard. The Central Admission Committee has already moved once from Round 1 to Round 2; another unpaid seat will simply roll to whoever is next in line.
