Bhojpuri Icon Akshara Singh Seeks Blessings at Kashi Vishwanath and Boats on the Ganges

VARANASI, INDIA — Popular Bhojpuri actress and singer Akshara Singh was recently spotted soaking in the spiritual atmosphere of Varanasi, the world's oldest living city. Choosing to step away from her busy filming schedule, the actress visited the historic Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers before embarking on a peaceful boat ride along the sacred Ganges River.

Dressed in traditional attire, Akshara Singh began her spiritual journey with a visit to the newly grand Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. Known for her deep faith in Lord Shiva, she performed a traditional rudrabhishek (sacred bathing of the Shiva Lingam) and offered prayers for the well-being of her family, friends, and millions of fans across the globe.
The temple priests welcomed her with traditional tilak and a flower garland. Sharing her experience on social media, she posted pictures of her divine experience, quoting classical prayers dedicated to Mahadev, which quickly went viral among her massive fan base.
