The list includes several senior leaders, sitting MLAs, and a number of new faces who are expected to strengthen the party’s campaign.

Among the prominent names, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the current Chief Minister of Assam, will once again contest from the Jalukbari Assembly Constituency. The list also features Pradyut Bordoloi, who has been given a ticket in the first phase of announcements.
