VARANASI: Varanasi is set to host a 26-day Army Agniveer recruitment rally from February 2 to February 27, 2027, bringing eligible candidates from 12 districts to the city for the physical and document-verification stages of selection.

The advance schedule gives the district administration, Army recruiting staff and candidates several months to prepare. A rally of this length is not one continuous open entry. Candidates are normally allotted reporting dates and batches according to district, category and registration details. The final admit card and Army notification, rather than messages circulating on social media, will determine who reports on which day.

What candidates should watch

The first practical step is to keep registration records, educational certificates, domicile and identity documents consistent.
