AP posts MBBS, BDS management quota merit positions; grievances by 5 PM on 26 September

VIJAYAWADA: Aspirants for management quota MBBS and BDS seats in Andhra Pradesh have until 5 PM on Saturday, 26 September, to flag any error in their merit details. Dr NTR University of Health Sciences put up a fresh set of lists on the evening of 25 September after verifying certificates uploaded under its notification dated 13 September.

The lists, and how big they are

The university has published provisional merit positions for applied candidates after verification of uploaded certificates. One list covers Category B1, B2 and NRI lapsed seats and names 34 candidates. A second, six pages long, covers NRI category seats and runs to 228 names.

The biggest file is an 81-page list of 3,774 candidates who were in the earlier Category B1 and B2 merit list and have now opted for NRI or NRI lapsed seats. Each entry shows the NEET rank and score, gender, category, date of birth, area, Muslim minority status and the seat categories the candidate is being considered for.

Two more lists went up at the same time. One names candidates asked to re-upload documents under the 13 September notification. The other names candidates who paid the fee but did not submit the application.

How to raise a grievance

The instructions are the same on all the merit lists. Grievances about gender, category, area, minority status, Category B1, Category B2, NRI or NRI lapsed status must be raised through the candidate's own application login, with supporting documents, by 5 PM on 26 September. The link given is apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in/MBBSMQ.

The university has said grievances must be submitted by raising a ticket through the login only. Anything sent by any other mode will not be considered, and nothing received after the deadline will be entertained. With barely a day between publication and the cut-off, candidates who find their category or area wrongly recorded should raise the ticket first and gather paperwork alongside.

Competent Authority Quota: joining extended, sports test moved

For students in the state's Competent Authority Quota, two notices dated 24 September change the dates. The last date for reporting and joining at the allotted medical college for MBBS under Phase-II of the Competent Authority Quota has been extended to 4 PM on 26 September 2026. The notice, File No.5156/MBBS/BDS/EA1/2026(CQ), follows the Phase-II allotments and an earlier notice dated 21 September.

Candidates who applied under the Sports and Games category for MBBS and BDS seats have had their skill test pushed. It was earlier fixed for 25 September. On the instructions of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, it has been rescheduled to 8 AM on 28 September at the synthetic athletic track on the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus in Guntur, because of heavy rain and adverse weather. All other terms of the 22 September notice remain the same, and candidates must be at the venue by 8 AM.

The management quota lists are provisional. The university has not yet announced the web options schedule or seat matrix for this round in these notices. Candidates should keep checking drntr.uhsap.in for the next step once grievances are settled.
