AIIMS Releases NORCET 11 Admit Cards for 2,216 Nursing Officer Posts

AIIMS New Delhi released admit cards for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test 11 on Wednesday, 9 September, three days before the Stage I examination. The recruitment exercise covers 2,216 Nursing Officer vacancies across participating institutions.

Candidates can obtain the hall ticket from the official AIIMS examinations website. They should use the candidate portal linked to NORCET 11, enter the required login details and download a clear copy. The examination is scheduled for 12 September; the second stage is listed for 30 September.

The short gap between the admit-card release and the first test makes the details printed on the document especially important. A candidate should check the name, photograph, roll number, reporting time, test city and centre address as soon as the file opens. If the portal provides separate instructions, those should be saved with the hall ticket rather than left to a last-minute login.

The admit card, not a news report, sets the clock

General schedules help candidates plan, but the reporting time and centre instructions on an individual admit card are the operative details for exam day. Candidates travelling to another city should map the centre and account for early-morning transport. AIIMS had released exam-city information on 3 September; the admit card now supplies the document needed for entry.

The NORCET 11 recruitment was notified under Notice No. 103/2026. Applications opened on 24 July and closed on 13 August. The Nursing Officer post is placed at Level 7 of the pay matrix. The two-stage test is therefore not an admission examination: it is part of a centralised recruitment process for nursing positions at participating AIIMS and other listed institutions.

Candidates should carry only the identity and supporting material specified by AIIMS. A familiar exam routine can become a problem when applicants rely on an older recruitment cycle, forwarded checklist or coaching-centre message. The current admit card and the NORCET 11 notice should be read together, particularly for permitted items, identity proof and arrival deadlines.

Why the two stages matter

Stage I is the preliminary computer-based examination. Candidates who clear the prescribed requirements move to Stage II, which is scheduled later in the month. The release of an admit card does not indicate selection, nor does appearance in Stage I guarantee progression. Candidates should keep their registration details and downloaded documents after the first test because the same recruitment account will be relevant to subsequent updates.

For nursing graduates and diploma-qualified applicants, NORCET has become a high-stakes route into public healthcare employment. The scale of 2,216 advertised posts will attract attention, but candidates should be careful with vacancy figures broken down by institution or category. Those details should be read from the official vacancy position and applicable notices, which may include qualifications, reservations and institution-specific requirements.

If the admit card does not download, the first step is to rule out a credential or browser error and try the official portal again. Any mismatch in a candidate's particulars should be reported through the contact route provided by AIIMS rather than altered locally. Saving the complaint or email acknowledgement is sensible when the examination is close.

With Stage I on 12 September, candidates now have a narrow administrative checklist: download and inspect the hall ticket, verify the route, assemble the permitted identity documents and reach the centre at the time printed by AIIMS. Preparation in the final two days should not be allowed to obscure those basics.
