AFCAT 02/2026 Written Result Declared; Qualified Candidates Move to AFSB

The Indian Air Force declared the AFCAT 02/2026 written examination result on Wednesday, 9 September, opening the next stage of selection for candidates who have qualified. The recruitment cycle advertised 379 vacancies across Flying and Ground Duty branches.

Candidates can check the result through the official AFCAT portal using their registered email address and password. The scorecard should be downloaded and retained; a message received through an informal channel should not be treated as proof of qualification.

For candidates who have cleared the written examination, attention now shifts to the Air Force Selection Board process. AFSB is not a routine document-checking appointment. It is a separate assessment stage, and the instructions available through the candidate login should guide the choice of board, date and reporting arrangements where those options are offered.

Read the scorecard without adding an unofficial cut-off

Result days often produce rapid circulation of claimed cut-offs, screenshots and coaching-centre calculations. Candidates should distinguish the score shown in their own account from an unverified number on social media.
