ACP Vidush Saxena Issues Strong Warning on APK Fraud, Urges Public to Think Before Clicking
Speaking to Dalimss News, Vidush Saxena, ACP Cyber Crime, issued a strong public warning against opening unknown APK files, calling them one of the fastest-growing cyber fraud tools.
He said cyber criminals are using fake apps, links, and calls to gain access to mobile phones, bank accounts, and personal data within minutes. “Before opening any APK file, think twice. One careless click can empty your account,” he warned.
ACP Saxena urged citizens to install apps only from official app stores, never share OTPs, and immediately report suspicious activity. He stressed that public awareness is the strongest weapon against rising cyber crime.
