According to local sources, Neeraj was found unconscious near a field about 500 meters from his house on Friday evening. Family members rushed him to a private hospital in Kachhwan Road. Doctors later referred him to a mission hospital in Kachhwan (Mirzapur), and due to his critical condition, he was shifted to the trauma center at Banaras Hindu University, where he was declared dead.
